I love love love how this song feels like Saki has moved far enough from how helpless she felt at her most ill to be able to write and sing about it so joyfully. All of the girls sound gorgeous, but Saki’s performance in particular is just so BRIGHT and strong and clear and hopeful. Such an underrated vocalist.
it’s nice because in sakis last focus, she and ichika couldn’t decide upon a happy song or a sad one, right? and here, the sound is super cheerful but the lyrics are despairing in some places. this is truly the worst day of our lives!!! 😁 i also should add everyone sounds absolutely incredible here, especially honami chan, even though she has a few lines. and saki shouting out!!! this honestly is becoming one of my favourite leoni songs i gotta say.
This song is SO AMAZING!! It sounds absolutely incredible, I love how they mention distortion and the guitar has a lot of distortion, especially in the solos. Not only that, but Saki’s character development has come so far!! From being stuck in the hospital and not being able to live out a normal school-girl life, to being in a typical high school and in a band and having friends. It still sucks and it’s not easy to exist even as a normal girl, but she’s clearly enjoying how free she is compared to before. She sounds so bright and happy and I just love it!!! Saki is my favorite character and this means to much to me😭 this song is also my favorite ahhhh
The way I simply can't stop smiling!! Man, I love Saki so much, she's my favorite from Leo/need because I relate to her and her past, and, as the other comments have said, she sounds so bright and cheerful here, so much so that even when singing about all the hardships she's gone through, you can still feel her determination to make every day of her current life better, and to live life to the fullest :)
