Much of the world has been hit by Covid-19 and many countries are still struggling for months to get their individual outbreaks under control. Even for the handful of nations that have yet to report a single coronavirus infection to the World Health Organisation, the effects of the global pandemic are devastating.

Imagine you’re stranded on a isolated beach, and when you return to civilization, you see that people are wearing masks, kids are out of schools, people aren’t touching, and you can’t walk into restaurants.

There was a similar situation that happened. A man spent a month or two up in Vermont in a remote cabin with no internet or access to the outside world and didnt even hear about the virus and was really confused when he returned.

From all I know of Bhutan, I'm surprised it's not on this list. But they
1: are more permissible to tourism than the other mainland countries listed ( it's still hard to visit because of fines and restrictions, mostly in place to protect their culture and keep their people from having to deal with "tourist problems", but they do still support and appreciate tourism)
2: have a completely free health care system where anyone feeling sick probably went, so it would have been easy to spot.
3: it has a government that's reasonably honest, and legit cares about its people, so it probably understands the importance of covid reporting.

Yes you can argue that without the economy people will also suffer and possibly could be worse off as demonstrated from the video, but if you’re the leader of your nation then it’s YOUR responsibility to look out for everyone. Granite maybe you might care more for the economy for the welfare of everyone once this is handled but these are human lives at stake
In order to stop a boulder that’s already rolling down hill and about to smash into the village at top speed. Do you want to put some people in the way in order to try and stop the boulder by even a little bit so then less damage takes place to your village or will you order everyone to stay out of it’s way ensuring no casualties but sacrificing the village? That is the hard question to answer.

Well, these countries are lucky that their pain is just economic. They dont have to deal with people sick, dying and dead.
In some countries, health care system has collapsed and economy is in turmoil.

Could people use the time to set up coral farms to restore reefs........ it would benefit the islands in the long run making it more of an attraction when countries reopen, also governments can employ people for improvement projects..... it's easier to do this when there aren't as many tourists around.,

Less populated countries r not affected with this disease. That's y. Population control should be also made necessary by the nation government. So that diseases can be controlled and maintained well by the nation.

If all the countries closed it’s borders the minute the news came out about the virus or the cases of the virus outside China this would’ve been over months ago. It was extremely selfish for theses countries to keep borders open even after a thousand cases and now we all have to suffer.
