i guess we both agree that the original is a great song... and it happens that i'm a dnb fan, my favourite type of music joining a great song with my favourite type of music made it simply amazing so yes, i can say this is more catchy for me than the original maybe you do not agree with me, but you shouldn't come here discourage the artist who did this

before there was dubstep, a bass like this was in liquid dnb and other hitech sounds and much liked. It's just not-so old-school, is all ;)
