It enhances their ability to be quick and also learn the language. It's very helpful when learning a new language. If you ever learn a new language, there are many techniques you will be taught including getting advised not to talk in your own language in a foreign country b/c that will set you back.
I think they do it for 3 reasons: 1. To pass time for themselves while in the car. 2. Good practice for the foreign members to work on pronunciation and quick on the spot thinking in korean (rather than just saying rehearsed lines shows and promotions) 3. Its hella hilarious and entertaining watching foreign members play korean word games and they know that, so thats why they did it. And since everyone in the car is foreign, it kinda levels out the playing field.
I really missed the wholesome and fucking chaotic NCT Empathy era. They literally promote for a whole 3 months! Starting from the first vlive i saw in February where they introduced Lucas, Kun and Jungwoo to all the back to back nonstop vlive from 12pm-11pm kst. SM literally betting their whole life to ensure NCT got the exposure and is known in the internet. Lucky i was a student, so kinda got to make time to watch all their content. I was obsessed. Literally watching them the whole everyday. Now its very hard to keep up. Too tired. But i’m happy to just be able to entertained by their content for once and then continue with my life.
