I wrote for Jancis Robinson MW for over 10 years about Chilean Wines. Wine Trends and later on, I organized a trip to Patagonia and Itata Valley and she had a great time and wrote about it. She rocks!
Watched the whole thing! Great to see a updated interview with Jancis. Really interesting to see what will happen in Scandinavian Viticulture the next couple of years.
Very insightful lecture! about the climate change, Denmark sounds promising to me considering their not-so-fertile land. Must be good for vines. Anyway, viking's wine sounds interesting!!
As the great California vintner Carlo Rossi used to say “I like talking about wine but I’d rather drink it”. Pick up a gallon jug of his Burgundy at the grocery store and you’re set for a week
So it's the perfect book for millennials: you learn just enough wine terms to uphold the pretense of being cultural without having to go through the bother of acquiring any real knowledge.

What a crap interviewer. Jancis is one of the best people in the world of wine, and to have a DOSSER interview her is not good.
Jancis recognised my work on an obscure French appellation and referenced me in the Oxford Companion to Wine. I couldn't have felt more honoured.

GREAT TALK love the way how relaxed she is about giving away REAL knowledge about the industry

She tastes 27 wines per day on average (and she asks the sommeliers what they think). Just thought I'd mention it.

Whats with the chain around Jancis neck! Good Consumer guide to wine !
She had to go shoot a rap music video after this, so she got into her wardrobe early.

43:50 "I was the restaurant correspondent for ISIS"

Probably great content and immense value but too verbose and not at all talented in cresting audience engagement and buikding interest!
