I have a button stash, too - my grandmother's, my mother's, my friend's grandmother's and my own. That tree was gorgeous.
I inherited my mom's buttons and now I know how I can use them. Have you noticed that some older buttons are so beautiful. I am glad I watched my Mother sew and create.

Not only did I enjoy being with you, but you had me chuckling as you were doing your star. That project by the way is my favorite. It's such a beautiful piece for Christmas. All your DIY's were so nicely done. From one Grandma to another you little one was so darling to see. I miss that time. I have 2 Granddaughters and they're teenagers now and there won't be any more. How creative you are. I love the button tree...I also have a button box. Many from my mom and aunt. The candy canes were amazing as they light up! The story of the Candy Cane is the amazingness...and lighting up as Jesus is the Light of the world. The star...well what can I say? So beautiful ... getting bigger and bigger... and you have a lovely hand. My handwriting really sucks. It has never been good. Thank you for all your joyful love of our Lord. I didn't get notified that you had a new video! But I'm so glad I saw this tonight. I really needed some Wendy giggles to cheer me. One of my granddaughter's close friends from college died in a car accident this past weekend at 21 years old. I've been having a hard time dealing with losing someone so young, bright, family-oriented, driven, a true gentleman, and faithful follower. In my heart, I thought he may have been the one for her. But when he went home to Chicago in the spring, he told her they were just friends. He was back at campus for a mutual friend's birthday, and she saw him on Thursday night when out with her group of friends. He was in the accident on Friday night around 11:30 and passed away on Saturday. I've been praying for his family, even though we've never met, as I can't imagine what they are going through. Thank you for bringing your light into my world tonight. I loved the Christmas music and the projects. My favorite was the button tree. And that sweet little Kendall sure made everyone's day!
By the way my daughter's middle name is Sue too. It's a great name!

Everything was absolutely adorable and that includes Kendall!!! 😍I had to do the same thing….I was like, “I’m not going into the attic to bring down Christmas supplies” I was able to find some bells in my craft room and one sprig of greenery (so that was a no-go 😂) and luckily all my staging stuff is stored all together, so I had some Christmas to use for that! I loved seeing your new background as you opened the video…and did my ears actually hear some new background music? It was such a joy to watch you create again!!! Love you sweet sis!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Wendy I really enjoyed these DIY’s you done Amazing job on them my favorite was the last one the song is one of my favorites.. My daughter sings and every year at Christmas I get her to sing it for me and makes me cry every single time, I guess it’s because my Daddy loved Christmas so much and he’s not here with us, He’s with Jesus where he wanted too be and I find great comfort in that knowing he is where he long too be....
Btw you have a beautiful granddaughter! My daughter had olive skin and big green eyes and was so chunky and she was the prettiest little girl.. Now she’s grown and beautiful and has a daughter which is our world and we only have one more year with her then it’s off to college... I don’t know who will fall apart first me or her Mom lol it’s just hard letting go... I tell my children all the time you can come home anytime lol....
