Thanks Sandra, he turned 10 this week, definitely slowing down a bit (by springer standards 😂) 5-10 min walk to beach, then a couple of miles along the sand to the caves. Needless to say Indy loves it! One of the beaches reminds me of Holkham with the sand dunes, just not as busy. Hope you are keeping well, Paul and indy
I almost didn't want that opening segment to end, what a stunning piece of cinematography with both drone and camera, topped off with a humorous narration...and then dawn came and you did it again! Brilliant Paul.
Glad you like it Si, had a cold on the trip and dragged right on through editing, trying not to sound full of snot was a bit of a challenge on the mic 😂
Stunning video. Having woken to a bit of a flood in my bathroom I watched your video while waiting for the emergency plumber and the beauty and calm was the best cure to any stress I had been feeling!😊 thank you …. So lovely where you are.
Wow, I absolutely love this comment! So happy I could help (sort of 😂) It sounds like you had the 4d experience 😂 Hope your plumber gets you sorted. Take care, paul
What a great video again Paul. Fantastic. What a stunning location and the weather really played ball too. Also woof woof Indi. Star of the show as always.
Thank you, glad you liked it. Is a beautiful location, feel very fortunate to have it on my doorstep, the weather definitely played a part in my decision to go camping 😂 don't mind the rain, but everyone enjoys a good sunrise! I'll pass on the sentiment to Indy. Take care, Paul
Stunning shots, what a landscape and beautifully narrated as always. Video quality is much better is that your first upload in 4K?? What a view from the cave dude! What a sunrise even Indy was mesmerised!! Loved it buddy, quick but mighty wild camp to recharge the soul!!
Thanks Eze. Yeah 4k this one (took me a while to edit, as it lags on my struggling laptop) Was a beautiful camp, woke up at 4am and just had to get up to watch the sunrise, was glad I did. Take care bro, Paul
Paul this was incredible! Those caves are gorgeous! Are there remnants or pictographs of other civilizations in there? Really cool. I forgot pups name but the whole time he/she is walking with you that tail wags all the time!! We want more trips with pup! 😁👍🏼. Take care sir. NQU
Cheers Paul. The cave with the wall art/carvings (Pictish, around 1500 years old) is two caves down from the actual one I stayed in. It also was also the one where the human remains were discovered, but they were of course all removed and they are thought to be around 3000 years old, lots of human bones and the heads of children, some Roman activity as well I think. Indy is always happy when out and about and his tail rarely stops 😂 ATB, Paul
@@WhenNaturePauls that’s really cool Paul. Here in Massachusetts there’s a historical rock called Dighton Rock. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before or not, but this rock has old pictographs from either indigenous peoples of time long ago and writings from early European travelers. Its pretty cool. Always good to see ya out there! Take care. NQU(Paul😁)
Lovely video and what a fantastic place to camp. I think you've just inspired me: I'm off to camp in a (much less spectacular) cave with my dog this week, TFS 👍
@@WhenNaturePauls it definitely makes it all worth while, the first of your videos I saw was Loch Maree I visited there last year it was stunning your video brought back some wonderful memories
Awesome video mate, and what a sunset & rise. It's been a while since I visited those caves, must go back on a warm summer's day for sure. You can definitely tell the quality of your footage has improved. How are you getting on with the G9? Looks like it was right move.
It's such a beautiful coastline! Love the g9, this little trip was a nice trial, definitely made a few errors, but that's how we learn I guess. Glad you enjoyed it anyway.
@@WhenNaturePauls Yeah, we're so lucky to have such a beautiful coastline. Glad you love the G9, the image stabilisation is what sells this camera for me & the rest. Take it easy bud.
@@WhenNaturePauls Yeah, I've done that too, still do. There's also a button that turns the silent mode on as well. Bottom left on the front of the camera as you hold it. I thought I'd damaged mine as I couldn't hear the shutter, then realised I had accidentally turned it on.
I went to Dubai with a Kazakh girl and we were heading at one point to the beach but there was an issue getting there, a transport issue, so I just thought, forget it then and she was disappointed and I honestly never gave it a thought why. Then a bit later she said it, 'I've never seen the sea before' and I felt so bad. We went back immediately and got there 😊
Thanks for watching,
Extra points if you can spot the dolphin.
(I didn't notice until editing)
Dedicating the one to Indy (the dog) who just turned 10

Great video Paul and some absolutely stunning shots!
Thanks Sam, these long drawn out days with long sunsets and sunrises really work well for the colours on the video.
Lovely video , canny believe you squashed your morning roll though !!
😂 was a proper nice roll aswell! Was just a bit too tight in my back pack. To be honest I think I was too tired to feel hungry anyway 😂
Nice scenes 👍
