Hello Tim! The panels were painted using a local lacquer straight from can. I found that Tamiya's BRG was a bit lighter than the real color of the car. The carriage was coated with flat clear. The front part was coated with gloss clear.
@@gpcarsscalemodels1197 hey that is encouraging because I don't have an airbrush amd doubt that I will. Mostly I model wooden ships so it has little use to me. But when you say spray can lacquer do you mean from a model paint manufacturer or a hardware store? I've seen some people here get amazing results with auto paint in shaker cans.
@@timmorrison4117from hardware store. Sometimes you can get lucky if you find the perfect shade of color from hardware store and the paint is much cheaper than from the hobby shops 🤣
there's something wrong with thoes front fenders and I do like the outdoor shoot, but the grass was wrong, so maybe have dont it on concrete or a path with no grass, pity, but nice model
This music will drive viewers away!!
Interesting model. How do you keep rear wheels on?there is no way provided to fasten them. Mine will fall of if the model is moved!😅
Fantastic
Well done
Consider a bit of weathering on the front blower, etc. A little dirt never hurts.
The racing Bentleys were always kept very clean, especially the supercharger.
I used to see this model in the model shops before they closed
Well done.
I'd like to know more about how you painted the body panels. Could you go into that a bit?

How is the quality, accuracy, and detail of this kit, please?
It is pretty detailed and easy to build. As you can see ive made some scratch build parts to make it even better. But stock parts will do.
@@gpcarsscalemodels1197 thanks, mate!
Chouette vidéo ! En tous cas, cela donne envie de réaliser ce kit bien connu ! :o)
I'm sorry but the music was very distracting.
There would only have been 4 HT leads as it was an inline 4 cylinder engine.
