And while I do feel sorry for him, Muguang really does make it too hard to root for him. His love for his wife turns him blind and dumb, to the point he speaks up for her and covers for her even after he knows all that she did, and sacrifices himself for her.
But I do feel sorry for him, because Wu Huan never deserved any of the love, care, and protection he gave her.

That's because out of the three of them, I think he's the one who's most powerful and talented. If I recall correctly he reached Godhood first out of the three, and he also easily beat the Snow Goddess who was pretty powerful in her own right.
I love how Laiyi is hitting back at the Heavenly family,it seems like only GuJun and Houchi dare to do that,every words he says make sense but Muguang...how should I put it,he's always listening to WuHuan,he should atleast feel sorry for what he did because of Shanggu the world is safe and he can become the Heavenly Emperor.

This drama is so beautiful ❤️, I m currently watching 44th ep, and it's striking me that after five episodes it will be done 😭, I seriously fell in love with all the characters be it male or female 🥺🥺, such talented people plus story plot, the graphics used are nearly competing the Hollywood films, great job done by on and off screen members, 👍 I hope dey bring such amazing dramas more from this talented people and entertain us in future 😭❤️ I don't know why still in China they rated it so low and made the drama almost underated by insulting leads and directors, which was totally foolish and inhumane, are they mad or what 😔, I would recommend everyone to watch this drama The Roller Coaster ride of emotions 😭❤️, with Happy ending ❤️

People are calm when they know they did nothing wrong or because their truly wicked and good at lying. But that’s not the case here. Go Jun makes sense in everything he says while the imperial family just likes to report the very minimal wrong and trying to shut him up like Qingmu having very little demonic power and has to stay. While the fact that the queen tries to attack them while they weren’t aware isn’t even brought up, smh. I was so pissed with this idiotic imperial family for so long. They never take responsibility for what they did wrong and blames others until the very end. They also believe there’s nothing wrong with killing others and go after people who just wants to live peacefully.
I agreed. Some of the things gu jun said are facts and truth that already existed but has been forgotten so he reminded everyone. The imperial family is not good at following what they have been told to do. Are their intentions all about themselves and their authority or are their intentions about the people? 🤔 They need to get their intentions straight.

Makes you wonder if the roles were versus would Gu Jun be like His Majesty 😉. Even though he doesn’t know Qingmu he is standing up for him and Houchi as well . Great Dad he is 😃
There is something underlying all of this. Gu Jun did everything that he could to reincarnate Shang Gu. He knew he couldn't bring Shang Gu back fully, but at the very least he could trigger her reincarnation with the shard of her chaos power and soul he was able to save at the time of her death. Shang Gu was the goddess who helped him become a God and prove to the celestial palace that even a flood dragon like him deserved respect. So he gave Shang Gu her one wish, to be a daughter, a wife, and a mother, and that wish was realized in Houchi. I truly wish Gu Jun had survived the conflict, although he did reincarnate later after he sacrificed all of his life force to restore all of Shang Gu's powers and memories to Houchi.
