Yo I relate with Casey so much, I had an ex gf where I've ended up hurting but i had no idea what I did wrong. And honestly it was alot of small things, that ends up being one Big thing. Which made it hard to pinpoint, I was genuinely annoyed cause I really had no idea and I'd prefer if she told me what happened and then we work it out. I’m like Casey except the reason I don’t know what I’m sorry for is because I’m not sorry that I did something. I’m sorry that it effected someone in a bad way. Like once I tapped my female friend on the shoulder and said hey but I did it harder than I thought and she’s pretty light weight, like so light they won’t let her donate blood, and she said “ouch why would you do that to me!?” and I apologized but I didn’t apologize for hitting her. I apologized that it hurt her. It’s like saying “sorry for your loss” when someone’s sad about a death. You’re not saying it because the person died. You’re saying it because the persons death made someone else sad. Unless they aren’t sad then there’s nothing to be sorry for.
