    Every generation in my family has grown a garden and put up their food. We have just seemed to struggle with it. Our place was previously row cropped for many years. I believe part of the problem has been residual chemicals in the soil. We are now on year 5 here, and things are better...but some of it has also been down to technique and experience. I just want to thank you and your team wholeheartedly for your website resources, downloads, and videos. I recognize how well thought out videos like this are, covering just about every scenario and in order. Even though I'm in Zone 6 you have given me a good, solid reference without getting bogged down by the multitude of garden advice out there. We purchased our double wheel hoe with cultivators, sweeps, plows, and oscillating hoe this winter and will hopefully add your drip system next season. I can't thank you enough.

    I’m a 49 year old gen-x who grew up on home grown veggies and was raised to help work the garden. My wife and I were finally able to purchase a small homestead in the country a few years ago and we started trying to relearn all the gardening steps tricks. We have struggled to grow a healthy crop of corn. I’m just now finding your helpfully videos and although our garden is already planted for this season I’m hoping to start implementing a lot of things I’ve watched here on your channel. Thank you for all the knowledge you are sharing

    Just a plain thanks on the options you covered. Weeds are my weak spot on my gardening. Always looking for options to address them.

    The best garden tool I've bought was the Hoss Tools Double Wheel Hoe.

    I got a wheel hoe last year, it really works, and your method really does work folks. My garden was very well managed for the first time ever. I've tried plastic and mats and deep leaves. The wheel hoe is the best.

    That's a great overview of your tools Greg! I'm pretty jealous of that soil. Is that the product of years of amending or natural to your area?

    Does hoss tools not offer the short and tall square tomato cages anymore?

    • @gardeningwithhoss
      @gardeningwithhoss  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, they were a shipping nightmare. It cost more to ship than cages cost.

      I cut and bend tomato cages with concrete reinforcement "netting". Investigate building materials supplier for purchase, cut to length and assemble by rolling. Use higher math to calculate length necessary for desired cage diameter, cut with rebar cutter and roll cage into desired diameter. Questions consult with the boss....Hoss....good luck...Dennis

    I use the single wheel hoe I got from you, but, if life gets away from me a bit I won't hesitate to bring out the Troybilt horse tiller, set it on shallow depth and have at it, works just fine for me.

    We just bought one of your wheel hoes. Looking forward to using it this summer. The only complaint I have is that I didn’t get a sticker.🤣🤣🤣 Love your funny stickers!
