Hi Henry, had an RT4 , far too heavy and complicated! Had a ND1 boat which was good but too slow and broke after a year. My Deeper Quest arrives tomorrow so excited to put this through its paces ! Thanks for the video pal, looks like it’s going to be a good machine !
Mind sharing your thoughts on the deeper quest after you used it for a while? I ordered one but it wont be here until july. Im trying to get as much Info as i can
No, I forgot! Looks great for small parcels of PVA. At the rear of the boat, released with the bottom button on the controller inbetween the L and R hooper buttons.
It would be good enough for depths but I wouldn't be confident in it reliably showing me bottom hardness and clear spots. I would opt for the Deepr Chirp2+ for this, it offers a far more advanced sonar.
@@henrylennon3637 So the quest has the chirp 1? My assumption would be a chirp+2 considering the cost, but you know what they say about assumptions. I've got mine on order and I would be interested in upgrading the sonar if possible if it is indeed a chirp 1. It does look like a separate unit from the boat from what I can tell.
@@robholt8333it has the CHIRP Technology built in. So yes the very same technology that a CHIRP+2 use’s. They wouldn’t have built a boat and then not put their best sonar inside it. 👍🏻 The sonar is built into the underside of the boat itself. No need to upgrade the sonar. It has the best sonar already inside.
What range the boat and sonar have? Is it extended, as the normal Deeper can cover no more than 110m and I understand the boat has one integrated, thanks!
Around 350m-400m. It is the same sonar but due to the antennas on the controller and the boat, the signal strength is much stronger. You won’t have to worry about losing signal with this boat in the same way you sometimes are with the normal deeper 👍
So in essence it’s an ND2 knockoff but more expensive although flimsier. Unlike the ND2 it can only charge batteries in the boat, smaller bait load and double rather than triple hull. For £1700 You can get an ND2 with built in WiFi extender (not mentioned on here), Raymarine Dragonfly 5 sonar (10 times better), fitted battery meter and extra port/ starboard and hopper LEDs. It’s also been around long enough for any glitches to be ironed out. This deeperboat is going to be field tested by the first lot of owners. So it’s not the cheapest or best in its price and technology range as stated.
@@henrylennon3637 GPS and auto pilot are not essential, but echo is priceless. I can find my spot everytime with the deeper and get back to it every time. over a grand saved.
@henrylennon3637 hello mate how you getting on with this boat so far ? On the deeper bait boat page there's been a few boats not working as they should GPS and autopilot not working correctly how are you finding the GPS and autopilot on yours thanks
@@jimmywaller2805 no issues with mine whatsoever, working perfectly for the session I used it this week and the test run. Can’t find a fault in mine yet 👍
@henrylennon3637 koshtey thanks for the reply fella and please upload some footage off what this boat can do as theve been released with not realy any anglers useing them or reviews just a gamble to buy one. as anglers have got to take deepers word for it when they say its a good boat
Seen very waterproof from what I can tell and no wires all over the place inside that can cause potential issues. If the Deeper sonar is anything to go by, these will be watertight.

Great review, looks mega🔥
Pukka bit of kit that🔥defo going on the wish list
Thanks Henry 🎉
Henry you just drove it straight into the bank 😂
I have a question. If the app was faulty and needed to be fixed to work in uk how is yours working perfectly.
Not sure 🤔 honestly didn’t have a single issue with mine in the test I did in this video or since in the sessions I’ve used it
Looks bang on
I was very impressed :)
No mention of the dry hopper?

Boat returned to home smashed into bank assuming home was set how far out is that gps
lol yes that was where I set the home point in the office before heading outside
Nice reviewwww.... what app do you use ?
The normal deeper app 👍
How is the deeper start for just getting depth and checking for clear spots ?

Citruz…. It smells amazing!!!
I will continue to tow my Deeper chirp behind a £200 boatman for the same effect and save myself £1500.

You just smashed it on the margin stones, not sure I would give you any baitboat for review, have you ever used a baitboat before?
Haha if the plastic casing can’t take it being driven into the bank then the bait boat isn’t going to be up for the job for my fishing
Total Crap! £700 price tag?
Shop prices are averaging £1700. Rip-off Britain and the tackle shops are just the same, Disgusting!
Hello Henry any more videos with it in action on any off your trips thanks
Yes, soon! I will be using it over the next few trips so keep an eye out for these videos :)

👍👍👍👍😉
Itll lose signal all the time just like my deeper.
Not had any issues so far. The antenna means the distance achieved is far greater than on the normal sonars 👍
so, you need to take the boat to charge it? away from the lake and lose it for hours. In what world is this good? makes zero sense
yes, this is a drawback. I think they are making an external charger.
