It's been years since I read House of M. I remember it having the typical problems of its day: excessive decompression, Bendis dialogue, and comics-trying-to-be-a-movie storytelling. That said, House of M is miles better than anything Marvel publishes today, which says a lot about today's comics.
Agreed. At least during this era, though you could tell traditional story tellign was shifting, or dying out, it was at least still relatively entertaining to read.
