We have two labs who are training on buttons. One of them tells us what the other one wants all the time. He will button poop no, poop Enzo. Telling us he doesn’t need to poop but his brother does. They have a friend named Jasper (lab puppy) and the owner is Ashley. We watched the puppy for 4 days and on the fourth day Bodhi was tired of being a chew toy for the puppy. Needless to say, he looked at us walked over to the buttons looked at us again and slammed the Ashley button. We laughed he wanted her to come get him. We knew our dogs over our life time had always had a lot to say never imagined we would be able to communicate with them and them with us so clearly. Love the buttons…most days. lol
Bunny is always amazing. But the first interaction feels really impressive. She saw poop on the floor upstairs. She comes down to tell you about it. Her first attempt (upstairs) didn't get the response she needed. So she thought a little and tried again - upstairs went poop. I am truly blown away that you immediately understood and got up and went to check. You believed her!!! This might seem like a normal little interaction, but this is sooo different than other dogs and low verbal humans and some toddlers get from their parents. The way you interact with Bunny is so beautiful to watch. Thank you.

@@mateuszkubiak4434it’s not fake. Other channels are fake though. The first button dogs learn is already what they vocalise/communicate with their owner: to go outside and go to toilet. They do this by whining or just sitting by the door.
@@mateuszkubiak4434think about it. Dogs already DO ‘talk’. They communicate. All Alexis is doing is relaxing the barking with pressing a button, so a word can be paired. If a stranger or intruder approaches, all dogs typically bark. So, it’s easy to teach Bunny ‘stranger’. Alexis extended it to mean ‘foreign’, ‘alien’ or ‘intruder’…’pest’
So, are you going to just leave us hanging on who pooped upstairs?? 😂

Bunny has really expanded my mind with the way I think about dogs, all this time, they really WERE having full conversations with me with their eyes and barks.

Glad Bunny's feeling better. Her digestive issues can be linked to environmental mold. If she's feeling better when she's away from home and her issues pop up again when she's home, look into water leaks, water damage and mold. Mold produces mycotoxins which can damage the gut and cause digestive issues. I am speaking from experience 🤕
And/or allergies. I have my second allergic Old English Sheepdog. It presents by her getting a lot of discharge from her ears, some itchiness in early spring, her feet and lower jaw getting candida and her stomach is super sensitive to many things.
I cannot wait to watch Tenrec’s button ability develop. Papillons are so smart! My Pap would have stayed close at the sound of unknown stuff outside too. Interesting how that makes sense in light of their size, despite their big personalities.
If the tummy troubles are going down, I guess they could've been from anxiety! It's so awesome seeing how Bunny is doing and what she's been saying.
The house where Bunny lived before was upon the water and at the beach. There were big waves, big storms and many people passing by. This was stressing her out.
Now she lives at a place where only a few people pass by and where she has no waves and less wind.

The fact that Bunny gies first to the buttons to express herself when you are not even there shows that to ger this is a language, not just words. I dud some study a very longbtime ago regarfing sign janguage, and Oliver Sachs book "Awakenings". It discusses language versus just using various words. Without goibg intonit all, Bunny definitely has language, she has immersed herself in it just like a human learning a new language. You tend to respond first in that language when you are learning it. Thats what Bunny is clearly doing.
And Tenrec??? Wow !! Already got it going on !! Papillons are smart as hell !! I gave a dog whonus either a mix with Chihuahua and Pap or full Papillon and sge us smart as a whip!!! Id love to get buttons for her, absolutely love to.

I love that you're delving into the Theory of Mind. I love watching the connections that she makes as you learn together. You help me understand my own dogs and clue me in on ways that I can love them better.
3:00 is probably the craziest one. Bunny recognized she was wondering if tenrek try play bunny, and bunny could confirm it via human language! This is truly fascinating and makes me curious for the future. Not only can this help dogs talk to us, but help us understand them! A dog could tell us what another dog is saying and literally translate it.
If I may mention another channel, in Chronicles about Todd, Todd, a tuxedo cat who is very empathetic, has been telling his dad that Glamour's back is bad, is better, is worse...all backed up by vet visits.

Yeah, it's probably Tenrec. 😅 He's the newest and maybe not totally house trained. Bunny knows how to ask for "outside". I don't know if Otter does too but sometimes Bunny "talks" for him.

@@molls127 I meant that Tenrec is newest in the household, not necessarily the oldest dog. Do you know how old those 3 dogs are? I think Bunny is older than Otter by ~2 yrs, since Bunny was already grown by the time they got Otter (from what I've seen).

If your property is at risk for fire, you should look into building a hempcrete house. Hempcrete, in addition to being amazing in every way, also do not burn.

Dogs may dream more in new territory because they are adapting to protecting it.
It’s actually because they get new experiences and mental stimuli in a new place which then gets processed by the brain during deep sleep phases. Just like with human children.

I would guess that Bunny prefers the mouth feel or smell or another sensory distinction of the pink ball and isn’t deciding based on color. If they are identical besides color then, Ok, she’s a Barbie girl.

Dogs and cats can't see color. They can see black white and tones of grey blue and yellow. Therefore if bunny prefers the pink ball it must have another feature that makes it more desirable

This just to my Roman Catholic faith, first idea seeing Bunny relaxed, hearing no digestive problems...I will lift you up on eagle's wings. Hopeful new era transition will bring happier decade to world. I suffer alot of trigger pain to environment..so a remote piece of land seems wonderful.

Theory of mind is really just emotions. Any animal with a limbic system will model what other individuals around them need/like/dislike. Though it takes intelligence (a neocortex) to describe this in context (use language to convey internal models externally).

Bunny doesn't have a grammar. "Why sound" the hmm? is within the why which Bunny comprehends. Your reply, "It's work, mom work now." Bunnie replies "Work ear" adding "why because talk." Bunny is probably answering the initial question, why sound? Bunny says "no" as the end point. I think this is bunny disagreeing that sound is needed, i.e speakers. Bunny has an extended vocabulary, but you're asking that his grammar fits within english speaking structure, whereas his thought processes may or don't fit within this. So if in agreement so far, which grammar style/method best fits bunnys thought processes & abstract thought using the English language? Its like saying I'm going to use English words using german grammar. Also, I would find the person who started this as they will have abetter understanding if you want to move forward by teaming up.
