The breakdown is pure metalcore/djent, and there's some great Muse-esque synth mixed in there. They are traditionally a prog band, which explains the deferred gratification; their earlier work always has a delayed hook and I think it works quite well.
It was a different kind of metal, I think. Maybe a little mix of synth-pop, but it's a good mix. Looks like Australia's got an excellent contender there.
I think they're trying to lull people in a false sense of security, and going for the sense of surprise when it all kicks off. It's better on repeated listens.
Make sure you have another listen to catch the drop that you missed. I'm really happy that Voyager are representing us this year.
I love it

its a song that grows definately .
Great review of Voyager's Song Promise.
I really like this but check out one of their older tracks called 'Iron Dreams'. It's a tribute to the late Pete Steele from Type-O-Negative.
I love love love this song, along with germnay, idk maybe i just have something for rock songs with a chatchy chorus but damm.
These guys should've won 👍
It has a great build up. I think both Voyager and Lord of The Lost from Germany are great contenders to win I think.
Well what do I know, Germany tanked.
Their song from last time was better IMO. But it s a great change from Australia.
