Great video, have subscribed! Also just to clarify, the Paragon and Azuma units are not known as IETs as that is only a GWR brand - Hitachi AT300s is the family name for the whole fleet of trains which is probably what you're looking for.
@Sicilian Gecko They are not IEPs as a train isn't a programme. They're AT300s; branded IET on GWR, Azuma on LNER, Nova 1 on TPE and Paragon on Hull Trains. Admittedly it can be difficult to use wrong names as all the TOCs that they've entered service with so far have given their units separate brands.
I really want to hate the 80X series because of a love for the HST and 91 but they definitely make difficult for me and definitely seem to be much better replacements than the 220/221/222 and 180s that have tried to oust the HST in the past.
Sicilian Gecko I expect they are but not when they turn up in the peak a 5 car and passengers cannot get on or off as I have seen at Reading and Oxford. I think the roofs could have been a more cleaner design, hence why I thought they were incomplete.

@@matthewstirling1089 Well it is Britain so anything that is cheap and nasty. It all started with the stinky, foul Voyagers. They do not want passengers to travel in comfort in this country anymore. And GWR are couriering luggage because there is no space on the new trains, plus surfboards have been banned too. How is that a step forward?
Sicilian Gecko they are awful, they have uncomfortable seats and in Scotland the announments pronounce station names wrong, they are cheap plastic and are not durable, they will probably need refurbished in a couple years.

Yes they are, the 91s are going out of service in summer 2020
