Really good of you to get Punky to the ER for her staph infection. Having dealt with a blood borne MRSA (antibiotic resistant staph infection) for the last 6.5 years I can assure you they are not to be trifled with!! Good job taking care of your crew! Bobby, you've worked your ass of these last few years and so deserve all the success and happiness now coming your way. Thanks for letting us come along on the journey.
Bobby, you are the man! Every boat needs someone with the skills to fix anything. Your crewmates work hard, look great, and seem to contribute their share. Really enjoy the videos. Keep safe.
HI Bobby, Taylor and Funky, Enjoying watching your Sailing Doodle Videos in very Beautiful Locations , ye lucky People.Greetings from Ireland and Hope Funky gets better soon. All the best for the future.
I'm glad Punky's OK! Good job on getting the windlass fixed. I'd like to have seen about 10-20 seconds more of the thing doing its job, only because I know how much of a pain that's been to you, Bobby. I'm 6'7" and 270 lbs...I don't think I'd have fit in that hole. Taylor is especially good in this episode. She was happy for Bobby, concerned about her friend, very brave and adventurous on the inflatable, self installed another place to hang, and, of course, she was fun loving and as beautiful as ever. Can't wait for the next adventure!
My friends Sonia and Andy owned a Tex-Mex restaurant on that island. Unfortunately I never got to go to st. Thomas, but I was lucky enough to go to Freeport Bahamas. I love watching y'all have fun, I work so hard everyday it's my only Escape sad huh.
That was really too bad Punky had a medical emergency. The three of you make such a great team onboard. I hope you are enjoying your off season and hopefully you'll be back to a true cruising season later this year. ~SP
Bobbie your a very selfless man. It seems like you always put others before you, like taking punky to the ER. As it should be. Cheers to you mate and the crew.
I've enjoyed the last two episodes... glad to see it after watching #42... But either way I will always follow Bobby's travels, as he is awesome, even with those goofy white sunglasses!😂
Enjoy your sailing journey in Caribbean and Florida and Bahamas area. I'm a retired Filipino Master of an oil Tanker of Exxon. I can relate to your navigation data's during the voyage to various ports.
The hat is fine. Even better is you fixed the windlass. I am much to large of a man to fit in that location or mole hole. Its just stellar you were able to find the problem and fix it and I enjoy those DIY fix portions of your videos because oddly enough I find it interesting and relaxing to watch repairs. Yeah thats probably weird. Anyway thats some nice blue water
Taylor is cool. Aly is just too extra. Never wins in the end. I’m new to this channel. Sailed the Chesapeake for a large part of my life. Started at Camp Tockwogh. My brother lives along the Choptank. He has a 45’ J. Sailing with him was more on his 38’ J. Anyway good stuff. Thanks for making videos.
NO life Jacket, NO kill switch line, soo silly thought you all would know by now, Taylor especially in a dinghy alone. In Australia, we have rules about that kind of thing. How is Bobby going to survive without you Taylor? you both make a great team together. I'm glad Punky is ok.
I watch BackCountry182 and his sounds like that. He uses it to fine tune his takeoffs and landings, with this AOA indicator on the dash. If you've never watched his channel, he's truly talented. And yet, he's shown his bloopers where he had some, er, um, rough landings.. as a learner .. but he survived it!
Great job, great vid. We are off St. John right now, no reason to head back to Crazy USA...Taylor is such a natural boating GrL. crazy girl taking the dinghy across the sound!!!
About the cruise ships not at the dock, last I heard is they may start to have cruises to the caribbean starting in September IF there isn't another resurgence.
If not for the Hurricane Season, the North Shore of St. John would be the perfect year round anchorage in the Caribbean. It's close to an abundance of provisioning options while having some of the best beaches and beginner snorkel/scuba waters.
@@Mike-01234 yea true but when it does happen you remember forever, if your lucky. So why risk it? If you don't like it on your wrist wear it on your ankle.
Strange location for the windlass solenoid. Directly under(?) where the anchor chain spools out of that PVC(wtf?) piping that guides the chain below. Looks like there has been a lot of water ingress around that area due to the anchor chain passing through...needs a complete renovation imo.
Hi nice people! Just wondering if the solenoid is the correct one for all these Amps the windlass needs... Did you checked it? Have one with at least more 10% Amps the electric motor needs or the points start sparking in the damp environment over there. You can (should) use a condenser too to prevent sparks and a burnt solenoid after a few uses. Fair winds and flat seas to you and the crew.
Bobby, have you ever stopped at Culebra? I think you'd enjoy the approach to that airport. Down a valley between to nice tall hills, then a left turn to final.
Bobby, my wife wants to get an express cruiser type power boat. Will you come fix stuff on it as needed? I'm sure my windless will go out some day. Of course you can Vlog it and I'll treat you to a wonderful time in the Napa Valley! haha. Thanks for the video!
Wanted: 2 shipmates with bodacious bikini bodies. Willing to engage in heavy flirtation and sexual innuendo. No other skills required. Being a borderline alcoholic is an asset.
So glad Taylor healed fast. Is this the last time we see Taylor? She is so much fun and love the bantering between the crews. Thanks for including us on your adventures.
Agreed, but he said he had to tape things up so hopefully he sorted things out. Looks like a lot of current from the size of those cables, so I would worry about a potential fire if there are future issues.

The Straw hat looks better on Punky and that sailor's hat on Taylor is rockin'.
Thanks for showing St John, a place I wanna go back to.
Nice video. Beautiful shots of the beach and water!

taylor is the class of this show
Bobby, you have done something right.
Being in quarantine with those two must be really cool 👍😷☮️
Well I'm so glad punky was OK and nice job on the hammock Taylor

Taylor is so cute! I will miss her friendly banter! It looks like Punky got the staff infection under control quickly which is really good news.

Many worse places and people to be isolated with! Beautiful place...and crew! ✌️
Wow, that´s my kind of social distancing!!! Thank god Punky was right after that!!!... Best part, Taylor taming the hammock ha ha!!!
Thanks Bobby Taylor. We are going to long for this loving person. Cheers.
BEST DAM CREW you can get isolated with. Glad Punky is doing OK. Be safe you guys.
Glad to see your all making the best of the situations.
Hope Punky is ok. Love y'all stay safe! Taylor you're simply gorgeous! Even without make-up !
4:43 Yeah, but it wasn't because of the wind!!!!!! Bobbie you hound, you!
Good to see Steve and Lorett . Cheers!!!! Capetown.

Just an observation. When solo in the dingy you might want to consider using the kill switch tether, just in case...
That low oil pressure horn sounds like a stall alarm on a Cessna 172

Another great video Bobby. great Caption for takeng care of his crew. I thke it Punky is okay. I hope we see Taylor next season.
6:16 Captain hat suits her fine
I've never been sailing before. I'm becoming more and more interested. Keep up the good videos.
Hey Bobby I love your show.
to the rest of...... leave positive comments. This is hard WORK!
Love Steve and Loretta.
Love these adventures ⛵

Taylor, always checking to see if the jugs are properly stowed.
Loved my visit to the BVI, looking forward to going back
That girl knows how to handle a dinghy. Damn gurl... you took it far without a radio!
Taylor had me scared on her solo dinghy trip. No kill switch line? Be safe
Same here! Please I beg you to use kill switch... it is a serious necessity for safe boating...One tiny mistake, gone!!
Or PFD?
I never see anyone using those kill switch cords if you use some common sense like don't go too fast over rough water nothing going to happen.
@@Mike-01234 yea true but when it does happen you remember forever, if your lucky. So why risk it? If you don't like it on your wrist wear it on your ankle.
Yea, especially since it looked like she heading straight upwind and that front end wanted to fly over!
Yeah! Punky, Steve and Loretta are back! 😀
I stayed in a resort at caneel bay once many years ago. Beautiful place!
As always another great video! Thank you for sharing.

Loretta I remember for sure. Steve who?

I got claustrophobia just watching you working on the anchor winch.
What a drag it must be quarantined on that boat...:-)
OMG I love Steve and Loretta.
Nice to see your friends with soul mate again :-)
Bobby, have you ever stopped at Culebra? I think you'd enjoy the approach to that airport. Down a valley between to nice tall hills, then a left turn to final.
6:18 At least somebody's finding time to do their crunches!
For myself nothing goes down better than ice cold coors light !
No doubt about, I am truly in love with 'Taylor. What a babe.
Superb vlog guys
Many fanx for sharing your adventures with us
Stay safe out there
:-)
If you have to take it apart again, paint those connections after putting together before taping. Keeps corrosion at bay..
Like the hat Bobby. Reminds me of the one I use to wear working in the garden.
If your still around st.tomas you have to get a bottle of bones rum that they make in black beards castle also it's pretty good stuff
I have a crush on Punky so I was so worried for her because I dealt with a bad staph infection. Glad she’s doing better 😊
Expat Explorer wtf is a “staph infection”? And how did they diagnose her before going to the ER?
Congrats on 250k subs!
My parents lived on a CT 50 all tea built in Taiwan beautiful boat it was all teak
Ouch
Schneider hospital.🤦🏼♂️ sorry Punk!
Interesting, enlightening and entertaining. Well done!
No comment on picking Punky back up from the hospital? How could you forget to do that Bobby?
Punky was right about not showing up very much in the videos. Too bad.
Bobby, my wife wants to get an express cruiser type power boat. Will you come fix stuff on it as needed? I'm sure my windless will go out some day. Of course you can Vlog it and I'll treat you to a wonderful time in the Napa Valley! haha. Thanks for the video!

Man that's a beautiful beach for your social distancing get together.
I've always been thankful that my dinghy has had enough horsepower to get me around! 😜
Beautiful
I think I saw Punky in this episode.
Great vacation on a yacht, great video!
You guys stay safe,great video!
Thanks.
Going to miss you Taylor.
Hopefully Punky is healthy again as we only saw a glimpse of her later.
Being in the sun all the time would wear me down, and wind is tiring too.

scooch..lol, haven't heard that in a long time
I'm glad the hospital was able to help you out. Pandemic can complicate evereything.
That hat is really cool!!
perfectly good hat ... and crew ;)
btw congrats for your videos too
I don't mid the hat nor would I mind playing in the tool box it fell on!
Talylor oh yeah. Lovely. Bobby you are brilliant.
Bobby, none of us guys care about your hat. We're just enjoying seeing your 2 crew members.
So Bobby is it a requirement that you have to be drinking a beer while operating your dinghy?
I think it's a requirement in the virgin islands..lol
@@taylor5542 That makes a lot of sense then. Don't wanna get into any trouble!
Nice guys love it new subscriber
So glad Taylor healed fast. Is this the last time we see Taylor? She is so much fun and love the bantering between the crews. Thanks for including us on your adventures.
I think you mean Punky?
All those neighbor boats both in STT & STJ occupied? If so, a lot of others confined too!
Most are occupied but not all
@@Sailingdoodles WOW!
Bobby, it looks like that area where the solenoid was a wet area. You should have put the solenoid it a wet proof junction box.

That it such beautiful blue water there
Old boats! What fun.....
How does that Virgin Islands Tropical Mango taste. Was looking for it here in Texas
