    As a beginner with this jet, this is probably not the correct channel to be watching. Nice nav lights though.

      Well I am not new to RC Planes but fairly new to EDFs . The Nav lights are called easy lights and can be velcroed on. Each one charges with a single 1s lipo in them. You can get 20 to 30 flights out of them before charging again. You dont have to follow me but I would appreciate it if you would remain a suscriber. I subded you also . Nice Def lepord video.

      here is a link for the lights. you can find them cheaper on ebay but will have to wait longer. www.amazon.com/Airplane-Aircraft-Helicopter-Wireless-Navigational/dp/B07H5VP4JH/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=easy+lights+for+rc+planes&qid=1599080123&sr=8-1

    Always enjoy your videos. I'm itching to buy a new EDF plane. Considering the Habu or the Marlin. If you could only own one of these...which would it be?

    • @FatGuyFliesRC
      @FatGuyFliesRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Marlin because its a little more challenging to fly and it has flaps. The Habu is unique in that it hovers like a trainer and flies like a cub. I can see people buying the Habu as their first jet and thinking, Aww EDFs are easy, not big deal. Then they buy the Marlin or the Eflite A10 and crash them. The Habu is so easy to fly it makes you lazy. Landing her you still have to bleed off speed and flare at touch down to keep the landing shorter however. Same with the Marlin but the flaps make that more manageable. Basically the Marlin is much more Jet like than the Habu. Have I mad that clear as mud for you...lol. In the end get BOTH!!!

      @@FatGuyFliesRC That makes sense. I've been flying the heck out of my Dolphin, so a more challenging EDF seems like a good choice. Thanks!

    Hi John here,just wondering how to accessories for my Habu I love you the lights on yours and I also am looking for an afterburner do you have any suggestions

    • @FatGuyFliesRC
      @FatGuyFliesRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I am sorry I have never used the afterburner leds before . However I really like using the easy lights. Here is a link: www.amazon.com/Airplane-Aircraft-Helicopter-Wireless-Navigational/dp/B07H5VP4JH/ref=pd_ybh_a_21?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=G0X9XX5RRTKWK7914SDS
      You just velcro them on. Make sure you place them on UNPAINTED white foam areas or remove the paint to place your velcro patch. I subded to you .

    Those lights look real good in that low light condition. At 150% throw aren't you afraid of overdriving your servo?

    • @FatGuyFliesRC
      @FatGuyFliesRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I checked it, its fine. It still has some movement unused. The Issue is the flexing on the plastic control arm and its positioning. i believe if i were to replace the control arm with a longer stronger arm I could get more positive deflection without damaging the servo.
