Bloodflowers ages so well. It was such a sweet album to integrate into who I was in 2000, and like every great Cure album it accomplished that feat with enormity and gravity only felt by letting Robert Smith deep dive into your soul. This album still sits comfortably into my top Cure records.

I agree with you - most people think this song does the reverse and MAKES you sad; but when I'm sad, this song is one of two songs that puts me back on my feet (The other one being Radiohead's 'Fake Plastic Trees')
Its really hard to make a comment about the Cure as a 65 year old man, always loved the cure, maybe that will do for now, analysis will have to wait...
My favourite album for years and years and still on of the very few I must have around no matter what. Very inspiring compositions and the production on this is just perfect!!

Son una banda tan buena en vivo que puede parecer un playback pero no lo es, es solo que Robert es así de bueno en realidad y el ingeniero de sonido le apoya metiendo delay en su voz por momentos. ¡Genios!

Saw them at Merryweather in 2000 or 2001. It was so awesome, heat lightning was playing above them during this song. A great moment in time.
