Pastor Mike's sermons have a strange way of wanting me to run through a wall, spiritually (with the Lord), physically (work ethic, behavior, etc) and mentally (self confidence, not worrying about what others say about me aka validation.). 1.Grace of God is unmerited. Because he have chosen us and saved us from this world through faith and by accepting Jesus christ in our life. 2. Grace of God is undeserved. Because Jesus have paid for our past and futur sins. God have forgiven us all our sins. 3. Grace of God is unearned. Because we don’t receive grace of God through actions but by faith only. It is a free gift of God . Receive the gift of God which is grace. 4.Grace of God is Jesus christ. Accept Jesus into your life so he can tell us about our father. 5.If you truly love God , you will chose not to sin and commit in the relationship between God and you fully. (It cant be loved until there is a choice)

That's the verse that came to mind I also was thinking maybe it's possible to have fear of the Lord, but love Him even greater. The fear of being without Him because you love Him so much.
My God. I'm balling my eyes out. Thank the Lord for your grace. We don't deserve it, but you continuingly grant us with it.
It is almost a year I have been watching TC sermons online. And I'm back here because for the last month and a half I've been struggling and feeling off. I fasted, reflected and felt lighter...but still like a fog was hovering over my consciousness. It dawned on me that through my discovery of all the wonderful things in these messages I had been changing and improving. However one aspect of my life was not (career) and I felt like I wasn't being perfect or good enough because my views didn't align with what was being preached at the very moment.
It was such a fight, because I felt guilt for not being perfect, yet I didn't want to be perfect, because my entire spiritual walk for the last three years has always been slow and steady, trusting God and allowing Him to make the little changes as He saw fit in a time that didn't feel forced on me. But now I wanted to rush, and I wasn't seeing the results. I felt as though maybe because I'm not doing everything right that's why I'm jobless right now. But I'm so thankful for the Holy Spirit within me and my resilient personality that God gave me....it didn't feel right to seek to be perfect, and it has never served me to try to be. I've always advanced in life by being honest with God about how I feel regardless of if it agreed with the bible or what church folk saw as correct. And IF it was something I needed a changed perspective on He would help change my mind over time. It may not look picture perfect but it was in a way I could understand and live out His will in a way SPECIFICALLY for me.
For anyone on their own walk and feels slighted. It's okay to not agree with every Law, to not carry out every Law of biblical thing as it is written or as soon as you are made aware of it. What is important is to talk to God on it, express how you feel and ask for discernment, wisdom and direction...then listen to your 'gutt/conscious' that is the Holy Spirit. It may feel strange when it aligns with something outside of the tight structure of scripture but God is leading you where is best for YOU. And eventually you will see a change. Don't focus on being perfect, place your faith in God as your source and He will direct you in the simplest and most practical way for YOU.
Wow. I am one to never comment on videos. I just sit & watch. This sermon brought tears to my eyes. More importantly, it made me realize what a great God I serve. I am completely undeserving of His grace yet it is by His grace that I am able to wake up every morning. It is by His grace that I’ve never been in a hospital except for my birth & to witness the birth of my siblings. It is by His grace that I am able to breathe, love & experience life. God’s grace is greater. His love unconditional. Thank you Jesus!

Accepting Jesus doesn't make the dark spirit any less vigilant in his quest to devour. In fact it makes him more stealth, more cunning, more subtle. Everyday the Light is there to cleanse us and will always outshine the Dark.
Like you said, once you feel The Light, the love of Father, things are different. I still struggle, I'm still divorced, I still battle emotions and sins of the flesh, but what's different from who I was to who I am through Lights love and grace is a miracle that shakes me to my knees with humility. I don't need work to show. It's on my heart.

I have depression. And I have had a rough last few days.There are times that I just ask God to take me in my sleep but God! He used my son to get me back to God a few years ago. And he recently introduced me to Michael Todd, his sermons on TH-cam. They have chnaged my mind, my heart, my life. I have learned things that I have never learned from any other church. I literally cannot stop watching these sermons. I have been through a lot of trauma in my life. I have PTSD, depression ADHD, an anxiety disorder and social anxiety. I gave my testimony how I cam to God in front of a congregation of people having extrem fear & anxiety especially speaking in front of people. But God! I did it with his help.
