I know this is an older video but I was kinda putting this one on my wish list for next detector. How does do on urban hunts around the usual emi? I thought about the equinox 600,,but from watching videos this seems more stable, and the tone seems to lock on better,,,I could be all wrong,,what are you're thoughts?
The Xterra is more resistant to EMI compared to the Equinox in my experience, I don't normally hunt in heavy EMI but there is some at my home park that hunt at a lot and most of the time my Xterra runs without any problems where as my NOX 800 can get a little chatty . I believe this is because some of the frequencies included in the Multi IQ will react with the power lines. In this case I will usually run in a single frequency to eliminate the EMI. Hope this helps . GL HH
I have the small "gold" coil on my 705, it is the only one that I got with the unit as it was bought used, works perfect tho . . . I was going to buy a bigger area coil for it, but seeing your video has me thinking, maybe I should hold out and spend that money replacing my garrett CHINpointer (clone, that actually is not the worst) . . Any thoughts?? Is it worth buying a bigger coil?? Or should I stick to the 18.75khz "gold" spec coil that I have..
It depends on where you will be hunting, if you are going to hunt pasture you should invest in a coil that will cover a lot of ground so you can detect a large area faster. If you hunt in trashy iron infested areas then the coil you have will work much better than a large one. The Xterra coils are expensive but if it were me I would have a high frequency coil as well as a low frequency coil so you will be ready for any hunting situation. The Mars dual frequency Tiger coil would be a good investment in my opinion.
coin spader Thanks for the reply . . I was mainly using it on rocky beaches, I found it good for getting into tight spaces, but I'm hoping to get into a few fields this year so I will keep the eye out for a bigger one 👍 bloody expensive is right, a decent coil is nearly the price I paid for the machine lol But thanks for the advise! HH 👌
I have this same Mars coil on one of my X-Terra 705 but my dual coil is 7.5 KHZ and 18.75 KHZ. You should of done a noise cancel before the test it would of cut down on the chatter.
Air tests Don't mean a thing it's when they're in the ground you need a test bed like a lot of people have from like 8 to 12 in then you can get an accurate test definitely air test never it's the ground conditions and way the detector balance is out the ground that makes a difference on how far it can go
Not enough of a difference to justify spending the extra cash on a multi-frequency coil if you ask me.
he never ground-bound the machine

Peace be upon you... I have such a device and I have a question please. What is the number that appears on the screen when there is gold?
That's interesting great educational video thanks for sharing
Thankyou, And thanks for your comment.

Good video! Thanks for the info.

subscribed to chanel ,what do you think of the other dual coils? the 3 and 7.5 and the 3 and 18.75 dual coils?
They work well, I just purchased another 7inch one, it is called the lion coil, 7khz and 3khz
Liked, subscribed, and shared your channel! Good luck pal!......DD.

Bardzo fajny sprzęt polecam 👍

Well that second coil was a waste of dough then
Test 0,2 gram of gold . Coil 5 . Thanks
Didn’t it need to change the frequency on the detector too?
The detector automatically operates on whatever frequency you set on the coil.
Nice test
Thanks for commenting, good or bad I like the feedback.
