This is a fictional character who is judgemental towards Jews, black people, short people, poor people. Scripted shows can show characters like this because biggots do exist in the real world. If this was a reality show and Mrs Oleson was a real person it would be a different thing.
And you can not criticize Israel for Ethic Clensing and Apartheid against Palestine without being accused for antisemitism. (and Yes Israel have been getting away with murder and home and land stealing for 73 years, that is a FACT, if anyone try to say otherwise)

Makeup is very very very very old... of course it was produced differently. Makeup could even kill you (in the 18th century, because they used lead).
