Problem Child 2 was one of my favorite movies to watch as a child (it still is!) and this song playing in the end credits was like..magic. I always wondered what this song was forever and about 7-8 years ago i finally found it. Shortly after I became a lifelong fan of Rik Emmett and Triumph. Just simply amazing. Saved By Love is one of my favorites to listen to on the daily.

If it wasn't for that movie, i wouldn't have discovered Rik Emmett's music When I hear this song, I always think of Junior shooting the firecracker into the wedding cake with his slingshot and the cake lifting off into the air like a rocket ship and dropping down on Lawanda and Big Ben and then Nippy the dog taking a big dump.
What a great track they used for the ending. This song will forever remind me of my childhood in the 90's. They don't make them like PC2 anymore and Im sure today's kids don't have as great of a childhood as us 80's 90's kids do.

Anyone still blown away that the toxic Mrs. Healy in Problem Child & the school nurse/love interest Annie Young introduced in Problem Child 2... are both Amy Yasbeck (Wings)? And the last we see of Ritter & Yasbeck in the franchise is the happy walk off to this underrated song... ----- Anyone else felt cheated Problem Child 3 basically tried to cast a sequel like they never watched Problem Child 2? Instead of giving us the end of a trilogy...
Too bad not him, Oliver and Warden voiced their characters in animated series! Just Gilbert Gottfried and Laraine Newman does, but she not voiced her character!

Bought this when it first came out here in Canada. He received a lot of airplay and I knew that he was selling well here, but to find out he also went platinum in the US is amazing. A very respectful peak of #52 on the album charts.

September 2021. Problem Child 2. I absolutely loved Triumph back in the day & hearing Rik sing at the end of the movie, brought me here.
Rik Emmett is definitely one of the greatest rock vocalist/guitarist ever. Truly underrated and the same goes for Triumph.
