I don't have any experience with a 60, but my experience with old landcruisers would suggest that if you put a modern "sport" seat in, the front of the seat will lift you legs, leaving less room for the stearing wheel.
Mint find man! IMHO keep it classic and period correct like the rims. These old girls look great and function just as good without too much work. Keen to watch it unfold 🙏
HEY I saw you on instagram haha. and you're on my recommendations, I was that person who commented that I didn't like the bumper but I sure love Toyotas haha. Congratulations on buying a Toyota LC. Welcome to the family haha.
This is awesome Matt, must be very exciting to begin a new chapter. Look forward to seeing this project progress. We’ll have to do another colab soon😉.
Was that old girl owned by a old truck driver, those mods look like things truck drivers do 😂. To improve the ride quality of the leaf springs ether pull the leaf packs apart and put some thin coats of moly grease (same as you will need for the swivel hubs/cvs) or if you dont feel up to that jack it up and put chassi stands under it so you can fully suspend the axles and get some pressure pack spray grease and spray it between each leafs, it just lets the leafs work nicer and have less friction between each of them. For springs and shocks i dont know on leaf cruisers but with the leaf spring hiluxs efs is generally considered the best sorted for ride quality. A white roof and bonnet would be an option and would also help keep temps down in the car. If you can peal back the headlinner at the rear at minimum and give the roof a really good coat of lanotech steel seal or fish oil or even just oil, or drill 3 1/8in holes in each side of the roof so you can do it yearly (a white 60 was shown with it on the mr landcruiser channel) also make sure plenium where the wipper are is spotless clean with no leaf litter etc. Anyway have fun with it hope to see it at the Adelaide 4x4 show
Another solid video, Matt. Just straight to the point with everything! We released a portable jump starter. Can we invite you to do a review? We have emailed for an inquiry.
give it the "Whistle'n'soot" treatment! those little 2h engines sing with a snail on the side!! excited to see where you go with it mate!

Yeah okay
@@BuiltCruisers was going to say the same. Tread carefully as almost all commonly used aftermarket /retrofitted seats will sit higher.

That's the plan! Yeah keeping it classic at the moment
