Glad Joe played this. I hilariously played this first out of the trilogy. I had no clue who anyone was, everything was a reveal and it was a joy as the game just rapidly became batshit insane. I cannot wait for the reveal of Zero later, it's so amazingly stupid that I don't know if Joe will hate it or love it.

3:44:00 I figured something out before Joe! (I paused before the solution was shown but this has to be it.) You just have to think of how many possible combinations of numb tongues there are. There could be one person with a numb tongue which accounts for 3 possibilities. There could be two of them with numb tongues which adds another 3 combinations for a total of 6 possibilities. All three could be numb, totalling 7, and finally, none of them could be numb, totalling 8, which is the number of vials present. You have each vial assigned to a different group of people and you'll be able to tell based on which combination of people get numb tongues. You can have A-C licked by one person each. If only one person gets a numb tongue, you'll know which one it is. D-F should be licked by groups of two, and if two of them get numb tongues, you'll know which one it is. F should be licked by all three. If all three get numb tongues, it's F. No one licks G. If no one has a numb tongue, then it's G. This is a really satisfying puzzle to figure out, I feel like a goddamn genius

Okay as much as I love this series. Watching a bunch of people online play them made me realise how much Sigma reminds me of Rick Sanchez. especially the acid scene :D "We'll be dissolved, Mort- I mean- Phi!"
Man, like, this one was my first game and all i ever heard was how bad it was but also, how could it ever be good after VLR? It was doomed from the start! But i love Phi's drip in this, she cute.

Did he actually just randomly pick "Will you Snail" for the gag without knowing the significance of it in ZTD? That explains why he found it so funny. I saw a compilation of the playthrough and I thought it was just because a snail is such an absurd thing to put significance on, but hell it's a thousand times funnier if he didn't know about the snail story in advance.
It's hard for me to judge the game as a whole because of how much I was laughing about... everything. Jesus christ this game did not have a budget at all.

I see the trend of interesting character designs with eyesore animation continues... I don't know how each game manages to look uglier and uglier when they try to show characters in any sort of motion. Sigma lowkey fine tho
If Sigma knew he would be put in this killing game, and he's also a revolutionary scientist, why didn't he make hidden cyboorg weapons and shit inside his own body in preparation so that he can blast open a wall and escape
He didn’t become a genius scientist until after the shit hit the fan. So even if he modified his body he wouldn’t be able to use any of it to escape since the past version of him would’ve have any access to that stuff, and if he worked on it as soon as jumped into the past it’s likely he would’ve have any time to do anything significant since he jumped pretty close to when the virus would be released, and he probably wouldn’t have access to the same technology.
@walkermorales337 yeah, you can't warp a super technology with you when you jump back in time but I just hope the fact Sigma is a nobel prize genius is relevant in the game and he doesn't just act as usual (I played just the beginning of ZTD so I don't know) otherwise I will get pissed Then again after the VLR Bullshit I think I don't even have the energy nor the expectations to get mad at Zero Escape anymore.
