I love my Outcast. Definitely a stunt truck but I’ve also gone through my fair share of parts. Mainly in the steering.

This beast is now on sale for $489 in the USA. I mean that’s unbelievable and only Arrma does this for the RC world. Love Arrma and they are our families only RC Company.
I chose the felony. Was stuck between backflips or drifts. Arrma tough.

What fan would u recommend for the motor that fits on the heat sink the arrma fan looks poor

I'm curious if I can use the high speed pinion with a fan set up. I know the arrma fan setup with the heat sink doesn't really add much cooling unfortunately.

Did you run this with the punch setting turned up ? Did that make a big diff in regards to power & drivability ? How do you think it would be with a 1650 motor ? I have one in my Mojave exb and it rips . Thanks for the vid. Outcast is on my next list. Just got a Talion Exb
Punch set to max, highly recommended. kV is not such a big deal (I have a 1750 in my Kraton 6S), it's the length/width that will make a difference for more torque.
Did you get the outcast ? Id love to get the exb talion for sure. I think its the most durable stock 1/8th truggy you can get.

Same, but the parts for the exb are shared for the notorious and outcast and they will still produce these even though the car is not sold as a rtr

I like how there is like a "skirt" or extra plastic that wraps around the side, it protects the back end of the motor because they stick out a lil on the talion, that had me worried a lil bit but people have said they have not had any problems with it.
I run the outcast tall side guards on my Talion… fits perfect
which you would recommend traxxas maxx v2 ot outcast exb 6s?
Just wanted to chime in real quick on this. The Outcast EXB is actually a couple MPH faster out of the box than the E Revo. Stock the E Revo is just about 52 mph where the Ourcast is at 55 MPH. They both will hit the high 60s if geared up but neither like that speed with temps ROARING to what I consider the damaging area.
Play with your Punch settings to get the kick you want. Just wanted to give you some of the GPS tested numbers we see on these.
I do think what you may notice on this vs. revo is that handling at speed is night and day. Speed on the Revo feels better (for obvious reasons) so that could be why one may feel faster than the other when they are essentially very similar in power.
Also that servo is TRASH!
Thanks, I was talking about the power rather than the top speed (which is more a matter of gearing as you point out). Punch is already at max, I think it’s the weight of the truck as compared to the ERevo as well as having a slightly smaller can and lower kV.

I didn’t plan on buying the Outcast, but for a 6s EXB RTR, 490$ is impossible to beat! I found your channel looking up reviews, I definitely subbed, man! Keep up the awesome work. I just finished my Lasernut & Infraction/Vendetta builds. So, naturally the Outcast is next and a Castle ESC/Motor combo is on my short list now.
Do they got guards for the arms front and rear ?
Hey man, I have the talion exb rtr. Ended up with a rock wedged between the chassis and diff case. I order the arrma aluminum diff case as a replacement/upgrade. Have you any experience with them? Website say they're a direct replacement however the outdrives are to larger to fit the face plate🤬

Make sure you wait a few seconds before you apply power or steering . Wait yill the wheels straightened up

If you’re skilled at driving and send it, get the Outcast. Else get the Kraton.

I don't believe that arrma use actually 7075 aluminum than something weaker. You know it when try to file arma chassis or a real 7075 aluminum plate.

Just got a clapped out youtubers notorius v4 with spektrum system and m2c chassis towers and axles. All for 500
I made the mistake of trusting this guy with the silly biased af scores and got ripped off. 800€ down the drain for the outcast here in Spain, you need to buy an extra card to somehow program the esc and change a setting to not make the car feel like crap, have to refill the oil inside the diffs with proper weight to make the car work somehow fun and not explode the tires, the exposed center diff is a grinder for motor wires and pebbles, the arms are made of glass for some reason, they don't bend they break with the most mild crashes and now have to spend more money in rpm arms, the servo saver is just wrongly made, it is way too stiff and Im counting the days until it breaks the servo, you literally pay for an average product, mechanic simulator, that is not very different from most of the other rc cars in the market, not to mention dealing with these stupid straps for the battery and the body clips that takes like 3 minutes to take off or put on, just for the handy battery locking system and the reinforced cage/no body clip designs on the traxxas makes them automatically worth it, how people recommend arrma over any high end traxxas car or even losi is beyond stupidity, guess arrmas must be cheaper in the states or some people just want to work on their trucks for the sake of it.
And I thought: wow these cars don't look like they have half of the R&D traxxas has, but maybe if he gives the traxxas trucks such low score, some of these arrmas must be sick, terrible mistake.
If the Outcast is €800, then the Sledge is what, €900? And what program card can you use to program that ESC? And is the chassis 7075 and are the diffs as strong as the EXB? How are the tires and exposed center diff and how do you change the gearing? When you compare the Outcast EXB to the other 6S cars, I don't think there is a better choice.
@@RazorRC both cars cost the same, and not even talking about the sledge, the maxx or the e-revo are better trucks than that one and cheaper, why the heck would I need a stupid program card, a gearing swap or a fake 7075 aluminum chassis, for a product that is reliable and works out of the box?, that's the entire point of a RTR you know?: Ready To Run, and not a "Ready to work, adjust and tweak stuff", most Arrma cars suck as RTR
@@DashzRight if you just want a beginner truck that you don't make any changes to, then Traxxas is perfect for you. all the stuff you're complaining about are for more advanced RCers to make changes to their cars to get it to drive better.
