I moved to North Las Vegas at that time1998, but I remember coming back in 2000 and taking my X all around the town I grew up in. What a great time. In my life anyway. I’m so glad I found this video. It’s very cool.
Stunning. I wander around all the places you filmed, almost every week. But, I have never seen all of them look so beautiful on film before. Wonderful work.
Awesome video! I live in La Jolla and recognize every spot. However, I feel like a lot of people who live so close to these awesome spots haven't seen nearly as much as you did in 2 weeks! La Jolla is stunning and you captured it perfectly!
Thank you, I really appreciate it! I've been going to the area for a while now every summer so I just wanted to capture it and share it with everyone else!
+t brown I have a condo on windensea beach second one off the water i paid $800,000 for just under 600 sq ft aka very pricey if your renting !!and don't mind being a few miles off the beach and downtown expect to pay around 1600$ a month for a one bedroom anything cheaper than that and your doing pretty well !!
Wow! Beautiful video. I didn't know about video stabilizers--I thought that you were using a drone in some of those shots!! Thanks for the introduction! Although I attended UCSD [La Jolla] in the early 70s, I didn't get out much! Gotta go back after watching this!
Hey I’m going here in a few months!! Can you tell me where all you went?? Especially to cliff dive! I’m trying to do that! Can’t wait! Amazing video!!!
Thanks! I use the same picture style as Devinsupertramp Sharpness 0 | contrast -1 | saturation 1 | color tone 1. And I mainly just exposure correct in final cut.
Hi Nick, I am currently working on a community service video for the YMCA(school project) and wanted to see if there is anyway I might be given permission to use some of your footage of La Jolla, CA.
How many time did you practice to get shots like this on the glidecam ? I have a steadicam (which is not a glidecam but the same shape) and I always get some shacky shots. Any advices ?
I was pretty bad when I first started too. Just keep at it, find what your doing wrong and fix it. If you put in the time eventually your shots will become smooth. And thanks!
Yes of course it seems Like Devin's job but There is one difference! It's that your job shows that even if you dont have a 5D mark III you can do some réalité nice vids. ;) What about thé 11-16mm ? Is it a good Lens ?
Well thank you! And yes, for the t3i it is the best wide angle lens in my opinion. And actually I just recently upgraded to a mark II and a 16-35mm a few weeks ago, so more to come soon :)
Nick, thats such a great video! Its always a pleasure to see creators like you (and me) keep up the good work bud! btw recently I uploaded a video about MY trip to california, you might like it :)
Believe it or not this video is the reason I moved to La Jolla with my love. Just fantastic.
That's awesome man. I'm glad to hear it :)

Anyone know the spot at 1:11 seconds the walkway in the cliffs I live here and would love to find that !!! Thank you in advance
I'm pretty sure that is Torey Pines Reserve. There's one path that leads down to Beach Access.
Hi! I'll be going to La Jolla in two weeks, and I'd like to know what is the name of the places that you went to film this. It's amazing!

It was the San Diego Mormon Temple.

I need to know where the cliff is i have been trying to find it but never have I found it. Care to give me some directions or where its at/near?
More over by point Loma. Maybe a little farther north.
So pretty! Going there in a week❤️ I'm not worried that it will be too cold since its just the start of spring?
It's been raining a lot. But even then it's not cold. I was in Japan a couple days ago, now that's cold!
Amazing video man.. Can't wait to go to SD in November.. What is that rooftop place at the 20 second mark? Thanks in advance!
Luis Carrera Caroline's Cafe, Its in La Jolla Shores near Scripps.
Nice bro!! What day do they use that foam mat for flips??
Thanks! And I'm not sure that there is a specific day, a free running team just brought one out on a day when I happened to be there.
Yeah I do a little free running myself but that looks wicked fun. Thanks man I subscribed to your channel by the way!
Jake Dunning

Did you do any post-stabilization?
On a few of the shots, but I try my best to not use it as much as possible.
Dude, you're really good! Awesome video!! What fps did you use?
Thanks a lot!! Everything was filmed at 24fps.
