I currently doing my research using Markov Model and I would like found the transition probabilities. I found that calibration and eigendecomposition can help to solve it. Excuse me. It's a great explanation. But I have a question, why do we need define matrix B, C at the beginning? I can see that when we solve for the matrix transition all we need is just matrix A instead.
The reason is pretty simple, they give us a generic state space model and THEN they ask us to calcualte something for which only A is needed. In an exam usually there are multiple question on the same system, this video addresses one kind of questions that only part of the information they give us.
