2:05 I wonder if the yeti monster on the right was originally supposed to be the villain of the movie, a la the Murk from the "Monster on the hill" book. I would've preferred an adaptation more faithful to the novel where the underdog finds his worth in combating a greater threat to humans and monsters, instead of a safety-first cliche with a new paint job

the yeti Monster was not the original Villain of the movie . it was always that tentacular character l but i totally agree on adapting the book instead of falling into a story you have seen millions of time
