She lives like a free spirit. She is a human first before she is a wife, mother, etc. She had 4 relationship in 16 years. That’s not flashing at all

They've been divorced since her child was like 3. And he's still obsessed.
She left him because he tried to trap her at home with a baby. Including going into her perspective jobs and declining job offers on her behalf.
He's the one that showed up to her flight class uninvited.

She can’t avoid meeting him, they co-parent their daughter together. They have been divorced since her daughter was very little and she moved on with her life. But she knows his personality well.
He is very insecure, gets jealous easily and seeks to control situations and people when he’s afraid of “losing” them. When she started a new relationship after her divorce he tried to take the daughter away by refusing to send her back to her mother and cut off all contact so she would be forced to come and find him and beg. All because he was jealous that the daughter liked her mother’s boyfriend and talked about him a lot. Years later he finds out that she may be dating again and suddenly he’s showing up at her flight school as if he has right to do so.
I love the fact that she can have an amicable relationship with him as her daughter’s father, but know that that’s a door she will never walk through with him again.
