- I am excited to finally get and share this new Star Wars Animatronic from Home Depot. It's not perfect, as you will see in my review, but it is still pretty great. Let me know what you think about the Stormtrooper in the comments down below.

So sad. We lost an icon. From Darth Vader, to Mufasa, and King Jaffe Joffer, he brought to life many iconic characters. Thanks for the memories James!

Thanks for this honest review. It was hard to really see the bad paint job on the hands, but as you said you can repaint them.

Thanks. I don't know why I kept saying "bad boy" that night, lol. Once I noticed it when editing, I had to point it out with the counter. The lighting was a bit too intense to see the paint job on the hands, but it looked like there were places where they went back in touch up the paint., and it was noticeably thicker ad slightly off color. Glad you enjoyed my humor and I appreciate you watching! Looking forward to updates on the Misery house.
Wow! He’s a very impressive stormtrooper prop! It’s a shame about the damaged foot and stuff, but he still looks amazing, and will look great with your Darth Vader!

I don't know where the Bad Boy thing came from. I say it occasionally, but that night it was flowing from my lips, lol. Didn't realize it until I started editing. Even with it's flaws, I do love him. Maybe I'll put him in the background of my next video...
Whoa, a Scare Dad video! 😆Figured you must be busy working on your display. The Stormtropper is pretty sweet. If it's still around at Xmas, I might get one.
I am hoping he goes on sale like Yoda did. I would love to have two standing beside Vader. I am trying to get better with videos while still getting work done. Busy time of year, but I love it! As always, thanks for watching!
The Rubie's blaster is a pretty good replica, but it's a smaller scale than it should be. Looks great on the animatronic though!
I will agree I thought it would be slightly bigger, but then I thought maybe my memory was off. At least this one is super light for the animatronic. Do you know of a better option that isn't too expensive?
@@ScareDad That's pretty much the lightest one I can think of. It might be iffy for actual trooping, but it looks great on your trooper. :)

Quite honestly, if you go the Vader and Stormie route, you have to have two of them. One on each side of Vader. What a display! Sadly, we simply do not have the space. So it is only Vader for us.
I agree. I really want one more to have them flank Vader, i would look amazing. Do I have the room for it now, not really, but it would look so cool. Just having Vader is amazing though. I smile every time I walk in the room and see him standing there. Maybe Boba Fett next year? Thanks for watching!
@@ScareDad I think Boba Fett next to him would look cool. However, I do not really need one, as I made a Boba Fett costume (I am cosplaying as him from time to time), and put that on a mannequin with a fully jointed upper body. Granted, he can't move by himself, but he looks fantastic.
I really hope somebody posts a tutorial how to mod the sound on these guys. Or maybe create a soundchip with more movie-accurate phrases? Because frankly, we have our Star Wars figures set up all the time.
I've never seen Star wars but it looks pretty cool. Are you able to replace just the 🦶?
The foot is on backorder. They said they will send one when they have inventory, so hopefully I get a replacement. If you ever watch Star Wars - A New Hope (the first one and definitely the one to start with) - look for the stormtrooper that bangs his head o the top of the door. It's a fun shot that they left in the movie.

How can you replace the audio? Are you able to make a video? I bought one, but mine came kinda scuffed up. Not a deal breaker but I wish it was in better condition. I really want to see someone make a tutorial on how to mod the audio
I just opened up my Stormtrooper to take a look. The speaker and the motion sensor are easy to access and disconnect. Let me play with it for a bit, get the parts I need, and I will try to get a video for you. Thanks for watching!
