For me the Giovanni Tacchi was the best sounding guitar of all this. But they all sounded really well, they all have great overtones. The last guitar also had something special.

That Tacchi Jr guitar is amazing. It's plucked arpeggios with a melody on top is just stunning.

Marin guitar, for me, has the best sound quality, by far.

My goodness, this video is just one treasure after the next! Comparing 3 different interpretations of "Bouchet" by Marin Montero, Giovanni, and Andrea is just great. How many people get a chance to do that kind of "test" in person? Probably not too many. Unless you happen to live close to a Siccas Guitars or another major dealer of course. So, for me, hearing a comparison like that is something I really appreciate from a channel like this.

I agree, the M. Sakurai P. C. is "very pianistic".

Would you mind sharing what pianistic means? I see this description a lot when it comes to Sakurai guitars, but I never understood what it means.

@@ww3032 I think the Japanese makers have all learnt off classic Spanish makers who use the Spanish heel design this design creates a very deliberate high-pitch 'ping' to the note. It emphasises the E1 at around 1khz.
Some makers who do this also have a focus on controlling the basis to where they feel warm but very controlled. Lastly the most important factor of this I think is that the compression the way the guitar actually controls the Dynamic level of each string is very consistent (some people like this, I don't because it's a sacrifice to other characters found in other guitars).
This is my take on it. I guess it reminds me of how the pianos soundboard interacts with the strings, the design of a piano is very consistent in tension up through the whole range of the instrument where is the guitar strings are never consistent, there's a number of reasons for this.

I don't know if it would be viable ( in a business sense ) to mention which strings are being used as a different set or make can transform a guitar. Love the show and would llike to visit your fine shop some day.

You distort the sound of the guitars greatly. It's better to record on your phone without processing..How can you not hear this..?

I would listen to this chap.
The flame 🔥 maple 🍁 was the only one with a proper voice (not sound) but the wood by nature is slightly fatiguing.
The rest as I said listen to the fella, he has good ears.

      Hello
      That's an interesting point:
Does ones "like" or "dislike" depend on ones well being, not being "sick" as you put it.
You might remember TV series "House"; where Dr House, despite being a natural genius, did not "like" life itself cause of the pain in his leg (he was "sick").
I think there is merit in what you say.
So far as the comment, kindly read mine again, as I never said I dislike but one should listen to the presenter as he has good ears.
There is a difference musical voice & a sound, all instruments have a sound, with different characteristics as outlined by the chap in the video but not all have necessarily have a voice.
I suppose the same could be said of human beings (setting aside medical cases) all human beings make a recognisable sound (understand each other through their vocal sound) but not all have a musical voice.
I hope the above was helpful
