Living somewhere with easily visible mountains at almost any time, it was interesting to hear from Jordan's experience of seeing mountains for the first time. I should appreciate the mountains more.
Peter screamed 69 on the wrong episode to BECOME the Poppt1. Then, when Jordan is here, there is too much Poppt1 and Peter has an aneurysm trying to understand Jordan's thought process. THIS is the content I'm here for
The two podcast in a row either they really wanted 69 to come out fast or more likely they don’t want Poppt’s “move to kick” to be even more outdated since he actually moved immediately back to TH-cam after one stream 😂
“I’ve learned recently it’s like- it’s- that’s- you get serotonin instead of dopamine, serotonin is like, not- like- dopamine is AWW just the pleasure. Serotonin is just when you’re happy with yourself, but you- climbing a mountain you don’t get much dopamine. It’s not like watching a TH-cam video where you’re like bambambam brrrrrrrpp” - Jordan 2023
My uncle lives and works on a farm (in the upper Midwest of the U.S) and at least here, the deadline stuff still is an issue for them. A winter that extends too far into the spring could affect what he plants and there is always the possibility of winter coming early and messing up some of his crops anyway.
My 2 cents on farmers/rural living: City folk don't realize how much science there is behind farming. PH Balance, erosion, etc. It's harder for urban people to understand rural people than visa versa because many urban people have never had to go to/experience rural life, while many rural people have gone to major cities for shopping, school, entertainment, etc. Also, just because farmers live "simple" lives, that doesn't mean they're dumb/ don't know about the world. I have a desk job in Washington DC, but choose to live an hour away where I can raise animals and garden.
The easiest job I can think of is the job I had at a ski resort last winter. All I had to do was put some fences up every morning, do some simple maintenance and then listen to podcasts while helping people with the ski lift for the rest of the day, then do a little more maintenance and remove the fences. Could be a little exhausting on busy days but it was overall really chill
Cool WA nature places Ive been and recommend are the parongarups and karijini (that is quite far up north though) Also one cool thing my family does is to pack a morning tea to have on the summit of anything. It's a bit annoying to carry some hot water, milk, teabags etc but it's feels really fucking nice when you're up there
The Cherokee people has a game called Stick ball that was originally called "anetsodi" an-ne-jo-di. Also known as little brother war. Was used to settle tribal disputes, such for food and land.
Easiest job has to be security guard. All other jobs have some sort of depth or challenge that isn’t always obvious to an outsider. But security guards rarely have to do anything
Lol its only the "easiest" job when everything goes according to plan. Security guards are there to handle those rare moments of confrontation, if you have security you should hope that they dont do much, thats better than the alternative.
The numbers used in english are used (not as the only system) in almost every country, but other countries also have words for numbers just like in English (one, two, three)
To help with jacksons fear of space: space is so absolutley massive, that it is physically impossible to explore all of it. even 0.00000001%. we could only realistically explore our galaxy, but you would have to travel very very fast in order to do that, so we won't be doing that within our lifetimes. It might even take many generations to travel that far. Apparently, according to my science teacher, the amount of space that we've explored is like taking a glass of water compared to the size of all the water in the world. The real thing we should be scared of is that there's nothing out there that we can realistically have frequent contact with. we are on our own
I think the reason for certain weapons not being banned by the Ganeva Convention is because we have to understand not everyone will play by the rules. Poison gas was banned because it’s inhumane, and it isn’t a weapon that would change the course of war. If Ganeva banned guns, than any country that decides not to follow the rules would have a huge advantage and take over. If a country now decides to use poison gas, we’d all just wear gas masks.
You know, in that part about Poppt not knowing how to respond regarding the presence of aliens, he may have gone against social norms of conversation and opinionated statements, but his performance would have been perfect in a Plato society, where logic dictates all.
I work night desk at my college. My job is pretty easy but only because nothing has gone wrong very unlikely anything will but since nothing goes wrong i just get paid to slack off.
Idk man it had some shit to do with chemical weapons, we used flamethrowers in vietnam and shit, and the trench gun was so unbelievably effective and killing people that it had to be banned, certain forms of mental warefare like playing sounds of people wailing at night because in their culture spirits roam and devour your soul so you get no afterlife, brutal stuff Also there's a pretty cool story about what they did with certain bombs when they werent necesary anymore where they combined a bunch together into one sphere, it was called the demon core or some shit, the scientist who worked on it had balls of steel cause when he'd inspect it he used just a common ass screwdriver, i mean the story ends a bit grim, as you could probably expect but yeah its 5am and i gotta go to bed
Easiest job? Watching over a matrace store/ware house. No one's coming in, the products don't spoil and dust off the stuff once a week and you're done.
i have the PERFECT idea for a podcast, peter i know you read the comments so i will personally pay for the 5.99 for extra content #add if this happens. so my idea, each underdog goes up to the camera and recreates the rock raising his eyebrow at the camera and someone presses the vine boom at the same time. its perfect bc its amazing for the eyeball enjoys/video listeners as well as the very small amount of audio listeners.
What confused Zack is that he's the only underdog hyper aware of what he's saying, not reactively, but proactively also. He's the only one focused on the format, and it shows when he's not around. Kudos for the quote try, you had something going and now you know you can excel at public speaking if you improve.
Also, Hopcat, obviously it's easier to SPEAK statements when you think you're right (it feels like talking freely because it's information management); it's harder to TALK statements to try to persuade others into appealing to the words. Not even saying that I vouch for Zack every time, he's not even my favourite underdog, just sharing in case you need this later IRL.
Hopat, Lions most definitely were not everywhere lmao. There aren't any remains or skeletal evidence of wild lions in England or Europe, the symbols were spread through cultural diffusion and spreading
Gonna be honest. The war conversation is very unaware lol. I dont think North Korea is gonna agree to give up guns. Then it would just be the only country with guns! I don't think you guys really understand how dirty war is. The Geneva convention is very loose and and the UN is practically useless. Just read up on the Ukraine war. "Just give up nukes" significantly easier said than done.
Zack's quote is seriously the funniest thing to come out of the podcast thus far, holy smokes
Hopcat sating 69 quietly and cautiously after screaming it on episode 68 is amazing
Living somewhere with easily visible mountains at almost any time, it was interesting to hear from Jordan's experience of seeing mountains for the first time. I should appreciate the mountains more.
Same yeah
The back-to-back podcast to keep the week going with episode 69.
ALREADY ANOTHER PODCAST?? We're eating good tonight!
@raianz828Factual
Meats back on the menu bots
Yessir
wait! TWO PODS IN A ROW? You guys get a lemon for this!
You know something’s up when this isn’t even on Spotify yet
29:45 actually had me in tears. Jackson and Hops reaction to Jordan is why I try to watch the pod on yt
I feel like they forgot to upload the podcasts, so now we are getting them all at once
“I’m out of the poddy mood” - Poppt1 8:00
Peter screamed 69 on the wrong episode to BECOME the Poppt1. Then, when Jordan is here, there is too much Poppt1 and Peter has an aneurysm trying to understand Jordan's thought process. THIS is the content I'm here for
even if this wasn't meant to be released by them this early i appreciate an early morning underdogs pod (i live in the us so)
You guys should do a segment or even an entire podcast recreating Jackson’s old podcast, Tell that to your auntie.
The two podcast in a row either they really wanted 69 to come out fast or more likely they don’t want Poppt’s “move to kick” to be even more outdated since he actually moved immediately back to TH-cam after one stream 😂
Did he
Why?
@@tigerjupmer123both because it was basically a very inferior Twitch copy and also his community was already built for TH-cam
Another reminder that there is 11 episodes left until "Episode 80 Ill bash every religion"-Hopcat
we did it boys the funny number of the podcast cant go up from here
“I’ve learned recently it’s like- it’s- that’s- you get serotonin instead of dopamine, serotonin is like, not- like- dopamine is AWW just the pleasure. It’s only like 10 more episodes until Peter (legally) has to slam every religion
11:33
HopCat just calling an entire chat out 😂
My uncle lives and works on a farm (in the upper Midwest of the U.S) and at least here, the deadline stuff still is an issue for them. A winter that extends too far into the spring could affect what he plants and there is always the possibility of winter coming early and messing up some of his crops anyway.
There could not have been a better time for this upload, ty for saving my drive :)
The question is wether they just where very excited to record episode 69, or did episode 68 get stuck in the editing process ;)
Hop’s brain lagging at 26:58 lol. Great podcast btw
My 2 cents on farmers/rural living:
City folk don't realize how much science there is behind farming. PH Balance, erosion, etc. It's harder for urban people to understand rural people than visa versa because many urban people have never had to go to/experience rural life, while many rural people have gone to major cities for shopping, school, entertainment, etc.

Video idea for the underdogs channel, work on a farm for a day
49:15 i thought Peter was gonna recite the lyrics for "Shia Labeauf" from Rob Cantor for a second
The easiest job I can think of is the job I had at a ski resort last winter. All I had to do was put some fences up every morning, do some simple maintenance and then listen to podcasts while helping people with the ski lift for the rest of the day, then do a little more maintenance and remove the fences. Sounds cool
Love how Jordan, when talking about if everybody users the same numberals, completely forgets about Roman Numerals.
1:20 I thought my mom was the only one who says “disorientated”
THE BOYS ARE BACK
oh my god i've just noticed the lemons. ABSOLUTLEY LOVE IT!!!
As someone who lives in the mountains, it is wild to hear you had never seen one! And ours are very tall haha
Back to back podcasts less gooo
3 in a week? This is awesome
Cool WA nature places Ive been and recommend are the parongarups and karijini (that is quite far up north though)
Also one cool thing my family does is to pack a morning tea to have on the summit of anything. It's a bit annoying to carry some hot water, milk, teabags etc but it's feels really fucking nice when you're up there
Peters character development from screaming 69 last ep was crazy
Underdogs camping would be so cool.
"Jordan moves to Kick" sounds like a B plot in a cheesy sitcom which leads to wacky scenarios for out protagonists.
Ice cream guy.... "Warm it up.exe" is still one of the funniest videos on youtube.
The Cherokee people has a game called Stick ball that was originally called "anetsodi" an-ne-jo-di. Also known as little brother war. Was used to settle tribal disputes, such for food and land.
nah, a lots of people I knew called uno "yuno" so I got your back as a fellow Perthian
This week on the pod: The Underdogs discover urbanisation.
My mom's a graphic designer I'm absolutely going to ask her to put that quote on a shirt with a super blooper next to it
Here from Spotify since this isn’t there yet
Man Zack was crazy today, I feel like he hasn't Maddy in days
“But isn’t getting shot in the head a bit bad?” 29:00 left a like after hearing this
Easiest job has to be security guard. All other jobs have some sort of depth or challenge that isn’t always obvious to an outsider. But security guards rarely have to do anything

Why is this episode not on spotify?
The numbers used in english are used (not as the only system) in almost every country, but other countries also have words for numbers just like in English (one, two, three)

We've finally made it boys, episode 69
Now I'm not going to say that I skimmed the last pod and saw no Jordan so I clicked out... but that's absolutely what I did
11 episodes left.
Farms are the way to go. I'll be taking over my parents' land that they took over from my grandparents. It's a good place to be
Enjoyed 👍

Btw Hop, Russia has more Nukes than the US.
I just won a game of SAP while listening to this podcast. My name for that round? The hooting UNDERDOGS. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

"Hopat" 💀💀💀
Video game play tester is probably the easiest job I can think of. Just play the game.
Waterboys in professional sports. It’s probably boring as fuck, but you get the chance to talk to pro players, while doing 0 hard work.
Real

69, why does it say you must be 18 and over to view?
Peter, are you an anarcho-primitivist?
Haha 69
