@@Shmee150 But let's be fair, you did. have a great car lent to you. It just shows how respected you are in the car community, even got lent that 1 of 1 Lamborghini before.
Noticed you at the car show this morning and was too embarrassed to say hi, but it was super cool to see you and Strad in person! Hope you're having a great trip so far.
I think you got the pick of the bunch though. Would be great to have a full run through of the Batista. It’s so rare and hard to see the detail in that colour.
With the usual winter weather in germany, this video provides some sunshine to the day. Thank you Tim for the awesome content als always! Seems like you have had a blast on this drive.
Italians know how to make cars... Enzo Ferrari, Ferruccio Lamborghini, Ettore Bugatti, Pagani, Pininfarina, Dallara... there's something talking about cars in their blood, it's their DNA or something like that.
Crazy seeing you on the exact roundabouts i go through on my daily commute!!! Such good views of the mountains. The long sweeping curves on the 202 before exiting the freeway make it such a fun drive.
honestly, being an early follower of you and James, it's actually really satisfying to see how far you've come and how you're always able to do better than before
Shmee150 Absolutely Incredible Video I think it's awesome that you got to Drive Devin's Absolutely Incredible Pininfarina Battista along with all of those Absolutely incredible Super/Hyper Cars and I think it's awesome that you got in a Convoy with TheStradman's Absolutely Gorgeous Agera HH and I hope you'll get to drive it someday soon
Really is sad how boring the electric future will be. While a nice looking supercar and tons of power it's just so boring without and sound and drama of having an ICE.
26:44 You have needed a 4 wheel drive to keep going for years all the way to Roosevelt lake. I did this just about 10 years ago. It is closed just about 2 miles past the wash.
The most powerful cars I've driven are a Mucielago LP640 (which I had drive very carefully, not the owner!) and a detuned NASCAR (about the same hp). 2000 hp sounds cool 😊❤🥰
It was quite obvious Tim missed the pop and bangs which might be annoying for older ppl but he loves and needs them as long as they are not from a V10 STO.
It's the other way round. In a decade younger people will wonder "Why is your car making all those farting and grumbling sounds only to be much slower than a dual-motor family EV?" No matter how much people say it, the "soul" and "emotion" of driving is not based on the noises coming out of a tailpipe. They only associate them with power because of the times they grew up in.
@@10daysAgo it's not about Tesla. Lucid Air Sapphire is even more Lambo-destroying than the Plaid, meanwhile 641 peak horsepower Ioniq 5 N for ~$70,000 eats into mid-range sports cars, likewise 576 horsepower Kia EV6 GT for $63,000 and even the 422 horsepower Volvo EX30 for $46,000. Manufacturers could easily make these cheaper cars tri- or quad-motor for additional power. Around 2026 with solid state batteries they all get lighter so the remaining performance benefits of combustion shrink further. "But listen to the sound of that V10!" Sure, grandpa, whatever. I think a lot of reactionary petrolheads will change their tune when the Porsche 718 EV Boxster/Cayman debuts.
It is by far the nicest EV i've seen so far. It looks still like a regular, modern car! But I certainly would not mind a regular ICE in it or as a Hybrid maybe? with a v12 or a v8? or go bonkers and throw in a V10! Either way, its such a nice looking car really. I like it alot
I can’t wait to get a Sean and make it close to 1000hp for something like this,I want to do something that no one has done plus I feel like that Lamborghini is underrated do to the lack of horsepower it came with.
One of the good things with engine sound is that you don't hear all the annoying sounds from dashboard and tiers. Maybe just me but I go crazy hearing "squeaking" sounds driving.
Just knowing that this would have been the next LaFerrari makes me sad because it is so beautiful that a V12 would have been the final piece of the puzzle
They like to claim that Hennessey has well over 1800 HP. But it doesnt. Its just a tuned Corvette engine after all. It only has all that power when the guys at Hennessey are present. To engage some dragster mode. And then you have to run it on some alcohol / ethanol mix. And they will let you do a couple of runs. But you cant drive it with all that power because it damages the engine. In a normal day, its got like 1150-something power. Which is plenty. But nowhere close to that mythical 1850.
@@Shmee150 Hell no. It moves. Its just a bit dubious, the whole thing. Like how not-at-all American and road legal it is. A bit like the SSC Tuatara, except that one turned out to be built in Italy.
10:56 I can't remember the last time I've seen a Camry wagon out and about, someone should have invited that absolute Chad to join the convoy!
