    What a beautiful spot to work on a project. Shoe rack turned out great. Thanks for sharing the ideas.

      Thanks Steve. Yes, I find it much more enjoyable to work on my projects in the woods rather than in some driveway. A few things have been more practical to take care of that way, but this is more fun. Have fun building! :)

      @@DIYosefine Good luck with your channel I like the Old School American Box Vans vs the Sprinters all the Hipsters are driving lol

      Thank you, and good luck to you as well! I like a van with character, whichever van it is. It’s just more fun if it’s a representation of its owner(s) rather than looking like everyone else’s. But that’s just the artist in me talking, each to their own, a keeping up with the Jones’s thing exists in vanlife as it does everywhere else. I see the sprinter vans as the corporate side of vanlife. But who knows, maybe I’ll own a flashy new van one day, I’m not ruling it out (although it would probably look a bit different, that’s just my artistic nature). 4 wheel drive would be nice, that’s the one upgrade I would really want to shoot for some day.

    • @JohnDrivesAnything
      @JohnDrivesAnything 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DIYosefine That's funny considering the demographic that makes youtube videos on Sprinter life tend to be the anti corporate type. You inspired one of my videos

    • @DIYosefine
      @DIYosefine  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol, it’s all perception I guess. We’re all just more or less glorified homeless people (or houseless at least), unless one actually has a house or apartment in addition to the van, and then it’s arguably not ‘vanlife’, but more of a vancation perhaps. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with a vancation, year around in a van ain’t for everyone.
      Happy to have inspired a video for you! :)

    I'm jealous you have such flat door panels...my chevy express has so many crazy curves so building storage boxes to conform to it has been a real pain haha. But this video totally helped me, great tip about the sanding between polyurethane coats, totally had no idea about that. I'm hoping to finally finish my doors today! I just hope they look half as good as yours!

      Awesome. Astros are fun. Is it 4wheel drive? I really wish mine was. The door panels are kind of a fun project, since it’s a small area to work on. I’ve planned out my next one and got the supplies, but have had way to much ‘regular work’ going this summer I haven’t had time to put a saw to it yet. Sooon! Good luck with your fixes! :)
