I was having audio issues with my amp and couldn't pinpoint the issue. After tapping on the relay and having the sound come in and out I realized that was the problem. Because of this video you showed me how to clean the relay which fixed the issue I was having, thank you!

@@MariusHiFii It is a Yamaha RX-360. I'll check out the other videos. It was nice you pulled this specific fix out of a longer repair video. I have watched many hours of long format repair videos and those are great for learning a troubleshooting process. Sometimes you also just need to know how do I fix this one component? How do I troubleshoot this one thing in and out of circuit, etc.
Hi, you have a beautiful Yamaha. Is not so easy to do the job, record, render and create beste SEO and best keywords for high searching on YT. Your suggestion are important for me and if you have don't hesitate to tell me. Sooner this journey about Pioneer SX 1250 it will be finish so stay tuned for end tests. Cheers!
Hi and thank you for comment and for subscribe. Every time is mandatory to check the output speakers protection relay for vintage audio equipment. Never know how many times the relay engaged/disengaged on high loads. Tarnish/oxidation reduce the contact resistance and appear because of time and pitting/burns because of high loads. Cheers and good luck! Check also the rest of videos inside MariusHiFi Channel.
Hi, this is a part from SX 780 restoration. I was thinking is much more easier to have a video with cleaning relay only. Better if someone is looking only for this part. Ps. After you will build that relay clock please share with us . All the best !
Hi, thank you for comment and subscribe. I can say like that: 1. If you don't have sound..measure the coil terminals to see voltage. 2. If you have distorted sound, kick gently the relay cover to see any sound changes. 3. If output transistors are replaced be shure relay is not in good shape. 4. Open relay to see internal condition. This is how i m doing. Cheers and good luck !

Did you reupload this video? I'm having a déjà vu moment.
Anyway I love relays, specially their sound. Maybe I should build a relay clock.
Cheers.
