Tata has adopted European standard of door lock mechanism for its door lock mechanism in cars for safety. At the time of accident everybody should get out of car as quickly as possible. So the previous electric central mechanism in which you were dependant on driver to release central lock. So at the time of accident if the driver is senseless or due to some faults in electronic locking mechanism, doors were not opening and passengers were dying due to non-opening of doors. Front co-driver seat is not for children and any responsible person should seat there. If you are putting any child into the car, seat her/him in rear seat and make on mechanical child lock. So earlier electrical central lock is discontinued. This is also the guideline of Central Government. This lock mechanism is not a problem but a feature. I think now you will appreciate it.

Use child locks for rear seats. Front seats are not for children and even it's locked child can easily unlock. There is no assurance that extra steps can provide the safety
If someone is not from tier 1 cities i think it's not recommended to get fog lights and car stereo installed after market as so many fire incidents are happening because of going after cheap

Mercedes also has door locks like this. Can open locked door just by pulling the lever. Same with Skoda rapid. You need to use the child locks in the rear.

You can costomise yr car but it not best .... Becoz such costomisation doesn't support your car inbuld sensor which is inform you time to time . If you install foughights but it's hasn't provide cornering function.
