- In this video we work on finding a promising area to set up the gold dredge and then get it up and running. We work it for a day. In the end, I pan out my concentrates, but did not capture the final pans. But I think it's an interesting video and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did making it. Naturally, we do have some adventures along the way.

Really cool. I really enjoyed the inclusion of the four wheeler re[air, it reminded me of how life would have been for the original miners, how life there was tough, a really hands on, make it work existence. Really interesting to see how they dredge for gold, awesome video.
Your channel is all around awesome. You have a great personality, love what you do and are very passionate about it and it rubs off on your community. Usually a lot of TH-cam communities have some level of toxic people that seem to always try to ruin everything for others, not you though. Josh Clements Chig is the reason I got into metal detecting. Never was exposed to it until I found this channel and now I have a Garrett Ace 400 and a Garret pinpointer probe. Best investment ever you won't regret it. Such a cool hobby

Y'all should put snorkel kits on the 4 wheelers and side by sides it relocates the air intake higher to prevent water from entering the engine

Don't know why they don't put off road snorkles on the 4 wheelers, you can cross water up to your chin sitting down.

Actually, it’s been proven to refresh the habitat making it
better for the aquatic life than if it was left to its own.
Dredging also helps remove lead from lost fishing weights
and any Mercury that may be in the water.

It looks to me like the dredge is too large for the area you are in. It looks like a five or six inch dredge. Seems like you'd have had as good of luck with a smaller dredge.
What you discovered is that gold mining is hard work. Not many people are willing to work that hard for so little return.
