- In this interview, British singer Melanie C (aka Mel C and Sporty Spice) shares stories about her Britpop heroes Blur, the Spice Girls, as well as her special friendships with fellow British girl groups and boy groups of the 90s, All Saints and Take That. Melanie also talks about the impact of girl power and feminism, as well as the female artists that influenced her. Eventually, she explains what it's like to be a judge and a mentor to young artists on talent shows.

About Melanie C
British singer and songwriter Melanie C (or Mel C) began her career as a member of the legendary Spice Girls ("Wannabe", "Spice Up Your Life") in the mid-1990s. Based on this success, she built a successful, decade-spanning solo career which includes several hit singles (such as "I Turn To You", "First Day of My Life", "Never Be The Same Again", "When You're Gone" or "Who I Am") and a number of studio albums ("Northern Star", "Reason", "Beautiful Intentions", "Version of Me" and "Melanie C" (2020)). Melanie was also a judge on several talent shows, such as Asia's Got Talent in 2015 and The Voice Kids UK in 2021.

Wonderwall by Oasis is good and they performed right after the Spice Girls at the 2012 Olympics which I enjoyed but I saw a video about bands who put the girls down when they won everything practically back then and the singer of Oasis put them down big time. So did Garbage and The All Saints who only have 1 good song lol. Oh well.
You can look up All Saints on Spice Girls. They were jealous and put them down. They said we couldn't live with ourselves if we did what they do to be popular and all well in their own way. I looked up their songs after that and saw a very sexual song so they are hypoctits. I believe after they went through the small success and then met Mel C and personally knew each other it helped them not think that way anymore, they grew up. But Mel C did it too to Geri by saying it's not my thing and etc about her album but Geri did the best records wise. They all got fun solo albums. Girls are all so caddy and annoying. 😂
