- There seems to have been a rising interest in synthy Moogesque filters in a pedal format in recent times and my word if Vongon haven’t gone and made the greatest sounding one I’ve ever played!! The Paragraphs is far more than just a filter, it’s an expressive modulation machine capable of subtle tremolo like filters to deep gnarly filter tones to bit crushing to self oscillation... way to much fun to be legal! This Pedal creates so many eclectic and intriguing sounds. Great idea to have it be CV & Midi patch-capeable ! This will work well with my Modular Synth. 💖💥🔥💡🌟

Totally up to you, you can get wildly different results (all great!) in different places!
Thanks for the video! I was just wondering, would you please check the noise level of this pedal? I mean the comparison when it's turned off and out of the signal chain, in compare to when it's engaged. I just want to know the level of hiss or noise with this unit (especially with overdriven/fuzz sounds). My sounds are usually dirty or half broken up, so anything that adds unwanted hiss or hum or noise would be a big no in my setup. Cheers!

Anyone know how similar this is to the Spaceman Artemis? I'll probably end up owning both eventually, but I kinda want one now. I play a variety of instruments. Guitar (shoegaze, ambient), drum machines, synths. (Digitone, Digitakt, DFAM, Typhon, Minilogue XD, TR-8S, 0-Coast).
I see this pedal demoed on youtube mostly with synths, drums, and modular setups, but not too often with guitar. Which is more of my focus at the moment.
I’d give this the edge over Artemis, they are both fantastic but this has a larger range and few more performance features that might come in handy.
Hola😊 Without overthinking it, If you were to add an experimental mod. pedal to an ambient board, what would be your first choice between this and the romferd?
This. Love Romferd but this covers different ground that you can fake with other pedals. A delay of most sorts could get close to some Romferd sounds, not all but some.
Have been torn between this and tracer city by snazzy fx. Any help?

I watched like 30 of your demos last night haha. So a lot of your guitar tone, for the synthy sounds is coming from Apogee Duet Preamps? Not this pedal?
Firstly thanks for all the views! No you misunderstand, the guitar is recorded through amps but the synth tones are through the interface preamps. Used to be an Apogee but now I’m using Audient.
Awesome! Thanks for the reply. I’m looking for something that does what the Moog MF101 does quality-wise but I want to do a filter sweep with anexpression pedal. Do you have any recommendations? I contacted the maker of this pedal and he said he can’t put an expression on the LFO.

Would you choose a dusk pedal or paragraphs ?
They’re both phenomenal, I think Paragraphs has a slightly broader better sounding filter and is easier to dial in but the Dusk has MIDI, presets, etc, and sounds awesome in its own right. Would depend on what my needs were. I have both so I don’t have to choose 😁

It’s definitely geared towards the more unorthodox users but, as much as I feel the same as you in most cases, Paragraphs is just so awesome I just don’t give AF! Haha, it’s so much fun, maybe even the best filter I’ve played.
@@ponderersounds3172 Absolutely agree - such a nice and interesting pedal - but all the more annoying, when there's no way to integrate it on a pedalboard cause of shit like that, you know...

Can you play octaves with this?
Nope, it’s a filter, some frequencies sound up or down an octave but it’s not really doing that.
