@@JDougyJ this is an after market grill so the fitment isn't 💯. I probably could grind down some parts of the chrome piece to make it a little tighter. But the stick out of the black part can't be adjusted. Probably get a better fit with an oem grill.

Aftermarket light brackets be like that sometimes. I had a set from Amazon that I couldn't even install. Had to switch the brackets out with the factory ones. Check out my aux beam video
I want to do the HD conversion on mine but they want a small fortune for the taller HD hood. I'll keep my eyes open at the local pull a part until I find what I need.
Not the way I did it. I think you would need to cut off the whole bracket from the frame and move it down for that to work. Or put a spacer to drop the tow hooks

@@Leatherkid01 might have come from the mainland in it’s early life. We get bad rust tho here in Hawaii, the salt in the air just trashes metal. Not so much where I live, but if you live on the north shore it gets bad.

@@Abel3270 might not be the exact measurement but the cateye hd pad is thicker so the bumper will need to go down. You can run the grill and hood with out the pad tho. U just won’t get the full HD look.

So at 7:35 ish of the vid, you can see my bottom line from where the slant ends… then I went 1.5” up from there. The vertical lines is what I used to line up the top piece with the bottom after cutting
Actually right now they aren’t attached. I have the other 4 pretty tight and the bumper is actually snug to the fenders. It wouldn’t be hard to just put a flat bracket between the 2 wholes and use 2 bolts. Probably after I paint it I’ll do that but I been driving it every day with no issues.

If youre getting a new valance, get ones with fog light holes 😆.....round (Z71) or rectangular fogs up to you ....but would be a good option tho

When you said 1 1/2. Did you measure 3/4 from the bottom and 3/4 from the top??
no, i just picked a spot on the bracket, drew a line and went 1 1/2" from that

Yeah even my aftermarket hood was about 500 2 years ago

The grill does leave a gap if you’re looking top down between the head light. I just left it.
What about the outer bumper brackets and the lower bumper brackets? How did you modify those to mount the bumper after you lowered it?
I used longer bolts for the bottom bracket and the outer ones are still not attached
