Yes, I agree. I once tried to make video of it. The guard snatched my phone and yelled at me to make videos. I could see people are unable to ride, still everyone used to get DL.

When I applied for my driving test for 2 wheel it was a streamlined process, I have been at RTO for just 2 dates, LL test and DL test and done.
I just paid the online fees and that's it.
I have given a driving test 3 times at RTO, they just won't give me the licence .... Do you know why ? Yes, I have not given them any Chanda 😔. It's my own experience.
How much were they asking

Ab DL 5000 (driving school fee) + 500 (clearance fee) + 1000 (DL fee) = 6500 mein banega bas itna badla h..
SOLUTION-
Automated whole process using AI. AI will record your physical driving test and give clearance certificate. Then that video and clearance certificate can be used to generate final DL. That could not be 100℅ transparent but it will reduce corruption to large extent and will give 90℅ transparency. As machine can be processed but can't lie.
But sarthi portal website can't even properly detect a face while testing learner license lol, so idk if this is even possible to make

When i went for driving licence renewal in RTO there were more than 300 peoples applying at window but only 3 peoples actually giving test including myself. Present system gives ample opportunity to public for easier corruption, this should be made difficult.

In 1992,i got a 2 wheeler driving licence by giving the test & paying bribe (even if you pass the test,they will not issue the license till you bribe them)

Current infra around most RTOs wasn't ready to provide driving test for large population. Dy RTO had to stop and switch drivers every 50 meter ride, how one can evaluate your driving skills. We need rigorous tests like UAE to avoid accidents.

मै लरनर के लिए अप्लाई किया था 8 महीने से आधार को एड्स के तौर पर अपलोड कर रहा था RTO वाले रिजेक्ट कर रहे थे लेकिन जब मैने पता किया तो दुसरे के माध्यम से साहब को 1000 रुपए दिया वही आधार ठिक हो गया

To get driving licence, now you have to take private driving school training first then they issue the DL.

But driving school tech on the street. I learnt on the street early in the morning. Went to driving school for 2 months, but came out near perfect.
Sath hi tet ki recording honi chahiye jo ki km se km 5 sal bad tk rto ki drive se ek user id password se access ki ja ske. Isme test krne wala agr bekar me application reject kre to applicant ke pas proof hoga.
Ahr application reject hoti he to uska reason pucha jana chahiye.
