I was in a high level server and first round was good but second round I got targeted and they were teaming with someone so it was just me and this girl but ye I feel your pain.

My theory is that the beast was only hitting you because you were the highest level, which means that you have more expierence at saving, so if she killed you it would be easier to get everyone else, by the way, can you upload the chapter 4 of the mimic please?

This has happened to me before. I was hacking with 2 other people and someone else was keeping watch when the beast came. Even though I was the furthest away from the beast, the beast decided to hit me instead of the survivor closest to them.
