from what I understood it was more like Han Shuo wanted to use Chu Chu to get the crown. He was still somewhat evil towards the end of the original story so I don't think he liked her that much. Before the old Qian Qian stole him for herself, the queen originaly intented for Chu Chu to marry him, but that's about it. He might have fallen a bit for her later in the original show, but since Qian Qian survived that's not happening anymore.

I think the other girl is much prettier than Zhao Lusi, but I like her character Qian Qian (most of the time) in this drama. 😁
