This is not a church gathering. This is a lecture hall. One man gives a monologue lecture while all the other members of the Body of Christ are forbidden to use their gifts for mutual edification. Lectures don't cause the Body of Christ to mature. If they did, the Body of Christ would be strong and united. We would influence the country again. But we're not growing at all, and our influence in the world is plummeting. The Body will only grow the way God set it up to grow--every member exercising their spiritual gifts for mutual edification.
