The TCR cars are an absolute dream to drive
As someone who camps at the IMSA races at Watkins, and watches the TCR race, the track model is beautiful and the racing is so spot on to what you see. Love IT
I camped and watched an IMSA GTP race there in the 80's, back when the Nissan was dominating. Also won my first SCCA race their in the rain.
i was not a big fan of tcr before this build , but i think its brilliant, super fun, everything is a blast in the new content, much love
I agree. Tried the W12 first and it was a lot of fun to drive, but will be tough to master and tough to have good races I believe. Have really enjoyed the TCR races. Some great racing and I definitely plan to drive the series in the regular season.
As a lifelong BTCC and WTCC fan, I dearly hope this popularity for this wonderful class of car isn't short lived
I'm having so much fun in these cars. Knockhill is insane. Reminds me of my local track Waterford Hills Road Course. Tight little track with lots of character. These "draft" tracks are fun too if you work together with folks. Touring car racing is just awesome. I started watching Speedvision back in the day in the US and loved the BTCC.

Hi Dave great content. Do you think the bump after the bus stop section is bumpier since the track rescan?
They must have adjusted the T1 offtrack in the hotfix. You would get one in the race I did earlier in the week if you ran the usual line on the back end of the curb.

I think I remember hearing that launch control on these is executed by holding the handbrake and releasing it at the go.

I'm going all in on having TCR fun throughout this season, but if anyone has tips on how to drive them I'm all ears, getting them fast out of the corner seems to be really important and I'm failing at it :D. In any case TCR will be loads of fun I think!

Wanna race these but it will be goodbye i-ratings and safety ratings if your getting a + 1- 4 for every panel rub. They will need to tone the rating system down for these races imo.

The one time I held a defensive line on the last lap (on the inside) I lost the position. I don't know how you can say that last lap was weak.

It's a pity how annoying they have done the Civic Type R engine sound compared to how the car actually sounds.
Hyundai sounds super nice, lot's of cool blow off valve noises.

It's a driver's race but it's much easier to drive than the Honda.. That being said I think a truly great driver can extract more from the Honda

Every brit right now. "TCR is amazing". Everyone else, what is TCR? Are those FWD? Yeah, pass.
Anyone with fond memories of SuperTouring or any BTCC or WTCC racing will gravitate to these cars. Raceroom regularly packs its TCR races, so why can't we? hopefully this little bit of exposure is what the series needs to pick up

Enzo is a hot lap hero, can drive fast, but cant hold it together for a whole race and his racecraft is utter shite
