When you become saved, the Holy Spirit gives you the power to no longer be controlled by sin. He will help you overcome! As a child I always felt like "someone" or "something" was watching over me. A presence or power and I did not understand or know what it was yet. The beginning of my life was peaceful and I felt secure in my family. Some things happened during childhood later that left me feeling ashamed and disgusted with myself. I could feel this gross darkness during the events. At 12 years old, something similar happened again and it lead me to seek God and seek Truth. I researched different religions and eventually found the Gospel of Jesus. I found out how I could be saved and have a relationship with Jesus. I said Yes to Jesus and felt like scales fell off my eyes and felt the Loving Presence of God for the first time. After that I was walking the Christian walk alone. In order to cope with the unresolved issues in my soul, I began to run away from God and fell into drug addiction. I was heavily involved in the music festival/rave scene and I was addicted to pornography as well. God used another mutual friend who also did drugs and was in the rave scene to reach out to me. I realized I ran away from God, but when I came back to him, He accepted me with open arms! Ever since God has been healing me and setting me free from sin! To this day I am still a work in progress and am far from perfect. He has forever changed my life and he can change yours too. He offers love, joy, peace, hope and so much more. The pleasures of this world can't compare to having a relationship with God our creator. The last thing I want to leave you with is this... if Jesus had to go through what he went through just for you, He would! In order to enter the Kingdom of God, you must be "born again" John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
In order to be born again and become spiritually alive, you must REPENT of your sins and put your trust in the finished work of JESUS that He did on the cross.
Galatians 5:19-21 outlines what is sin:
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: [d]adultery, [e]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, [f]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Romans 10:9-13 says: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
. Following Jesus can be difficult, but He is always there to help us to overcome. It is worth the cost!
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” JOHN 16:33
Here is a prayer you can pray out loud if you want to surrender your life to JESUS. It is not the prayer that saves you but the repentance and the faith in your heart behind it!
“Lord Jesus…I acknowledge that I’m a sinner and deserve hell … The root of my sin is my independence from You… and living life for myself… I repent and turn away from everything You and the Bible call sin…I ask for Your forgiveness for my independence and sin … I choose to stop trusting in myself and my own righteousness...and I put the full weight of my trust in You and what you already did when You died for me on the cross…I surrender to you as Lord…which means You’re the center of my life. My past, present and future is all Yours…Thank you for causing me to go from death to life…I’m all in for obeying You everyday for the rest of my life, as I yield to the Holy Spirit’s power. Thank you Jesus.”

When you do this, The HOLY SPIRIT seals you and regenerates your spirit. You now have God living in you! You become saved from His wrath and are now Heaven bound. The thing God wants the most is a relationship with us. He wants to dwell not in the temple made with hands, but in the temple of our hearts. I pray you seek Him before its too late! It is a free gift and it can't be earned nor do we deserve it. When we become saved, we wear His righteousness and become a new creation ( ISAIAH 61:10; 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17). When you become saved, the Holy Spirit gives you the power to no longer be controlled by sin. He will help you overcome!
As a child I always felt like "someone" or "something" was watching over me. A presence or power and I did not understand or know what it was yet. The beginning of my life was peaceful and I felt secure in my family. Some things happened during childhood later that left me feeling ashamed and disgusted with myself. I could feel this gross darkness during the events. At 12 years old, something similar happened again and it lead me to seek God and seek Truth. I researched different religions and eventually found the Gospel of Jesus. I found out how I could be saved and have a relationship with Jesus. I said Yes to Jesus and felt like scales fell off my eyes and felt the Loving Presence of God for the first time. After that I was walking the Christian walk alone. In order to cope with the unresolved issues in my soul, I began to run away from God and fell into drug addiction. I was heavily involved in the music festival/rave scene and I was addicted to pornography as well. God used another mutual friend who also did drugs and was in the rave scene to reach out to me. I realized I ran away from God, but when I came back to him, He accepted me with open arms! Ever since God has been healing me and setting me free from sin! To this day I am still a work in progress and am far from perfect. He has forever changed my life and he can change yours too. He offers love, joy, peace, hope and so much more. The pleasures of this world can't compare to having a relationship with God our creator. The last thing I want to leave you with is this... if Jesus had to go through what he went through just for you, He would! Bless you!

I would like to share my testimony for years I have ran from God. now I'm apart of a youth group in my church in 12 years old and God has used me in so many ways and I will be doing missionary work soon with my mom. and there is a heavn and hell and on judgment day I know where i will going don't wait tell tomorrow cause there mat not be a tomorrow you could drop dead before you get through reading this. if you died right now would you go to heavn if it ain't a yes its a know and your heading for the pits of hell.
