    I really, really need to read Adam. Sounds incredible. I love me some Highsmith but have yet to read any of her Ripley books. I have Hester’s book on the shelves will be interesting to see how I read it as a ‘trade’ audience. I love that term, hahaha.

      Ha, I think I meant to say 'trade book' but muddled my words... but you get the drift. I think there's something interesting about writing in different styles/for diff audiences. And yes, please get Adam - it's remarkable.

    I absolutely adore Patiricia Highsmith's writing. She's my favourite author. What other books of hers have you read?

      I loved Carol (obvs) and Strangers on a Train! But need to read more, clearly! Ordered Ripley Under Ground :)

      @@BooksUpClose that'a great! I really need to read the other Ripley books too. I would also recommend 'Deep water' and 'The tremor of forgery'. They're both brilliant
