You’re so right! I love your sentiments and there are many of us who share them. Life, as I knew it especially in the forties and fifties were idyllic and enviable, more so if there was a railway connection, it was like family. If only Time could stand still, but things are not the same anymore. I look back now (I’m 91 ) and realise how lucky and privileged I was. India will always be special, it is the land of our birth! Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
