I am an armor modeler, and I have never even built a car model. My interests are almost exclusively military modeling. I am not even interested in car models, generally speaking. But your skill level is so amazing, so next level, and teaches so much about the art of modeling, all without words, that it is a thrill and joy to be here. You are the only car modeler I sub to on TH-cam, and it is a thrill when your new vids come out.

Exactly the same as the other people who commented. I'm a armor modeller. Watched these videos and today bought the same model to have a go. Won't get anywhere near the engine build detail but I'm gonna follow these videos for hints and tips. Amazing work by the way.
I just love it when someone takes an already highly detailed model and just goes above and beyond with it.
It's astonishing that other TH-cam model builders don't understand why they get 58 views per video. This is how it's done. No obnoxiously loud anime music, no babbling. Just the pleasant sounds of the hobby.

totally agree Mr T.............. but how about the plastic rod etc around the trunk-lid aperture (where the lid fits in). c'est tres bien n'est ce que pas ??

Ok, though my days of making car models have been long over, due to shaky hands and poor eyesight, I used to get a car kit I liked, research what colors were available for the body and interior, find out what photo-etch was available for it, maybe throw in some engine wiring and stuff, assemble it, and call it good. After watching many of your posts, I have concluded that you are truly mad! You take an already challenging kit like one from Tamiya or Hasegawa and say "That's not good enough". You are fearless. You look at everything in a kit and ask " How can I make it better? And you don't rely on the "aftermarket" to do it. I'm sure 3D printing would make your life so much easier but, seeing your solutions, techniques and creativity are fascinating! Keep bringing the insanity!!

Many people can build plastic models very well but you enhance your models with extra details.

Love your work! I fell hard for this kit when I got one of the first available years ago. I bought tartan decals for it and even started doing some initial fit work. Some other shiny something caught my attention and the kit has sat in the "to do" pile ever since. Thank you for selecting this wonderful Tamiya kit for a full detail and for reigniting my enthusiasm. Looking forward to the entire series.🤩

I built this one a couple yrs ago...what a lovely kit and car! It was a verrry careful bit of sanding on the gloss coat (tough, sharp angles on the body just above the fenders).
I appreciate him for not putting any music.

Charger, GTO, Camaro, Corvette, barracuda, Porsche, McLaren, Opal, Olds Cutlass, Pantera, Galaxy… I digress. Anyways, this time in car history was epic. At least in America.
